    Hi guys,

71 posts in and still dropping noobie posts like a bom. Here's another one:
What is the best way to increase TF/CT, or authority for a web 2.0? So what's the best way to build links?

A member of BHW recommended (tnx btw) that it might be a good idea to purchase several cheap pbn posts and point them to my web 2.0. However if these PBN's would suck or would be penalized and the Web 2.0 points to my moneysite won't I screw up my moneysite this way?

I work in client SEO and for link building I have a multi-pronged approach depending on the competition level and keyword difficulty. Web 2.0's work perfectly well as tier 1 links, however do not spam them and do not use spun or cheap content. Treat them like mini money sites with customized themes, relevant pics, videos, about, privacy etc etc. You can point as many cheap PBN links at these tier 1 links as you want, this will not affect your money site. For direct to money site PBN links, only buy PBN links from sellers with actual "private" blog networks, not "public" blog networks.

The best strategy is to use Web 2.0's as a Tier 1. But make them quality - unique content etc, so they scream "natural".

Then build links to them, all sorts of links, your "Tier 2", these may or may not help, you might get lucky basically.

But as long as your Tier 1 links are good quality, it won't be detrimental to your money site unless you do something dumb like interlink them.

Make your web 2.0 'PERFECT' by setting proper pages and use images, videos in the posts and treat it as a money site. For tier-2 cheap PBN's are fine, however you can also do some low quality stuff too, let's say social bookmarks, blog comments, social shares, 301 shortners.

As advised by Charlie above, don't interlink them. And as suggested by whatsapp above, use PBN links that are actual PRIVATE, as some sellers just care about money and not quality/footprints.

WOW, your strategy is so wrong...Web 2.0's are out of your control (any admin can ban your Web 2.0 without explanation), so buying links and pointing them to something which is not yours is not a good idea. Just like investing is someone else business...I personally replied few times already on how to get good links. Just use the search function on the forum and I'm sure you will find many good answers.

If your web2.0s are penalized, you can simply delete the links to your money site. But they can generally stand all types of links.

Please don't spread misinformation. Web 2.0's will not get banned willy nilly if they are built like real money websites. If you are used to building low rent spammy web 2.0's with shitty spun content, then yes, they won't last very long. Web 2.0's are a legit ranking strategy when used correctly. Also juicing web 2.0's with cheap PBN links works and works well. I should know, I do this day in day out.

I don't say you don't need to use Web 2.0's at all. My point is that buying PBN links and pointing them to Web 2.0's is a nonsense. If you need powerful Web 2.0's why not just register expired ones (with lots of links already pointing to them)? You can do this in a matter of minutes and completely free of charge.

There other disadvantage of Web 2.0's is that they are public - there is no way to hide them from your backlink profile. So your competitors:

    1. can find and replicate your links
    2. can write down all your Web 2.0 links and submit a spam report to Google

After that someone from Google will have to decide if these links are good or bad (and believe me is some niches there are whole teams creating spam reports all they long). So why taking this risks?

I'm also using Web 2.0's but only for Tier 2/3 links. Buying PBN's and point them to Web 2.0's? Come on...

Web 2.0s can change their link structure like Overblog did, now Over-blog.com.

Others may change their outbound links to nofollow like several already have.

And a couple lower authority ones may shut down for any reason.

That's why I don't invest too much money in these, such as pointing PBN links to them. Instead I would use that money in building a real PBN.

Would buying PBN links from the marketplace and pointing them to your web 2.0s help your rankings? Yes

But like others have said you are investing time and money in something that's not yours.
