Web 2.0 vs Brand New Domains

In terms of Domain Authority, Trust Flow, Citation Flow And Page authority Is it ideal choice to start business on self-hosted platforms like Blogger, Wordpress and Medium, although i have website and ranking for couple of keywords. But am asking to launch residual income business beside my blog. Any recommendations.

By "start business" do you mean like a site you actually sell things through? A money site? For the site you actually make sales through, you almost definitely want to have your own domain. Web 2.0s you're going to lose a lot of control. More importantly, your own domain looks much more trustworthy.

Don't even worry about the metrics of Web 2.0s. They're skewed and look much more helpful than they actually are.

Yea' I've witnessed alot of instances where people start out with a web2.0 property, in which the web2.0 got banned for various reasons that is simply not good for business.
If you are indeed starting a business, then perhaps you should seriously consider getting an expired domain with good metrics instead? That way, that expired or auctioned domain already has the metrics that a web2.0 property may have, and that makes it easier for you to get started out.
