web 2.0 sites removed?

Has anyone had a web 2.0 site removed? I have a number of web 2.0 sites and a few of them now dont exsist. It appears the the host has removed them.

Could this be possible and whats made them do this?

Not sure what you mean mate.

The wen 2.0 sites had 100% unique content on that I supplied.

I once posted 12 articles that i'd written to different wordpress.com properties. They were about specific products. They had my affiliate link at the bottom as well. It didn't matter that they were high quality and original - wordpress had then all taken down in 48 hours.

Now, when I make a new web 2.0, I always do a very small decoy post first which says "hi welcome to my new blog, its my first website go easy on me" etc, and put a pic of someone pathetic looking so the quality controllers won't have the heart to take it down!

I do it straight away I just add the decoy post to make it look more legit. It's worth adding that I don't put affiliate links directly on my web 2.0 properties. If they begin to rank after a week or so, then I will go back and add them.

Micallef Im going to give your little tip a try. I also add the links at a later date, after the site has been indexed. When I go back and add the links (one to my main site, the other to a web 2.0 site) I also change the text a little and add some images. Then ping the site

you should try not using wordpress.com and hubpages... 100% of my properties got removed within 24h

but I'm having great success with yola, quizilla, webs.com, xanga, ning, friendster, vox...

it really depends on what you are promoting ie. when i promoted replica handbags almost all of them when down fast...

I've been promoting software, vouchers / coupons, printing, insurance, weight loss, and electronics. Over 70 web 2.0 properties in all. Not a single one of them was taken down (this is a while after my original wordpress sites got taken down - but they had banner ads in them!)

Thanks for the tips guys i am planning an experiment lol

It involves building a ton of web 2.0 properties with a ton of BH link building and promotion.

I heard somewhere it was going to imminently become illegal to post a web page with an aff link without making it very obvious that this is an aff link and I will get paid if you click it (I think this was on Lemonian / Lemon Sauces blog).

Not sure how true this is but it seems also that some major players like big g are getting funny with bogus review sites and things like that.
