    Hey guys,

I recently purchased a web 2.0 profile app that creates 350 profile backlinks and I was wondering if profile links (either in the bio, signature, or just in the website field) still work? I spun the bio section to 98%, perfectly readable. I rotate 10 urls and 60 keywords, including some genetic ones like "here", "my site", "homepage", etc.

I was going to mention the app but I dont think its necessary since there are tons of apps that can create profile links. Just one point though, most of the profile links are on authority sites like java(dot)com and sites like that so most of the sites are custom coded, not just platforms like xrumer blasts to.

    Looking forward to your responses.

    Cheers

Yeah, backlinks from high authority domains are still good. Definitely it's better than xr profiles.

If the links generated are surrounded by content that relates to your site. Then yes they are extremely effective to link them straight to your site.Other uses can be to give web 2.0's or articles more link juice.

What is the app's name? As you note, there are many distributed and some are pure shit (dropping broken links, etc.).

Adding content to the bio section is a huge benefit, most people overlook that, because of laziness or being naive. So good job on doing that!

You should be fine, I recommend doing what you can to help index those Web 2.0 properties, through additional mass backlinking via Fiverr or tools like XR.

I do not believe that they really work, just guessing according to the price of the tools... If you can purchase a tool for $10 monthly or even $1 and create hundreds of profiles in a click of a button, then most likely the value is not as high as the sellers claims. Best example for this are Wiki links - so much hype and then there are bots for $10 you can buy - logically, links are close useless.

However, if you build these links manually, complete each profile and add picture so it's a decent content and actually even make some posts with your profile, then such links can be useful - but then again, that's not something a bot for $10 can do...

Make sure you ping them or they are useless indeed!

I don't think your post make a lot of sense, all you are saying is that if can get links cheap they are useless. It isn't right. Wiki links are also useful links if used properly.

    Is the app Rank Leap?

Yes, profile links do work provided you diversify the links. Never rely on 1 type of links. If you overdo just 1 link type, you'll have bad effects.

Yes, in this case it is. But I also create high PR profile backlinks manually so my thread is more of a generic question then about a specific software. :)

Alright that sounds good guys. Just a note on one of the suggestions... using xrumer to index these profile links? Profile links to index profile links, too epic. :p

As for link diversification, I have social bookmarks, a goodly number of social network blogs, these profile links and I will be doing some article directory submissions, most probably a list of 400 autoapprove directories with AMR. I just want to be extra cautious as this is my top website in my portfolio :)

    Cheers

If you just create them and forget about them like Angela pauls back links then they can hurt your site. And as far i know profile links are not useful like before.

Yes mate. This works great. You can build 10-20 high quality, manual, real-looking profile links at tier one, and then blast Xrumer to those. You get a powerful link pyramid.

if somehow you could get the app to build backlinks from websites which are niche related then it is golden. But to the point - if the PR is high then yes it works. I recently made over 50 high PR profile linkwheel from only PR 9 forums. Got aboost of +60 in rankings. So yeah it works :)

Out of the 350 web2.0 profiles i would rather point 50 to my money sites and the rest to my first tier links to juiced it up a bit.
