Web 2.0 power ?

I have a question: How powerful is a web 2.0 compared to a guest posting on a mediocre real blog ? I am asking out of curiosity, I want to know the exact power of a web 2.0.

A guest post comes from a domain with more authority, but also with higher OBL and is put in an inner page. On the other hand, a web 2.0 has low authority but has just a single outbound link, it's put on the homepage and it's also contextual.

So who is more powerfull 1 on 1 ? A guest post from a mediocre blog or a link from a decently built web 2.0 ?

Also, if I am building some "Super web 2.0s" that I want to stay up for a long time or forever, should I blast them with GSA spam or will some directory links be enough ? I am asking because I have noticed domains having just 7-8 directory links (not sure if this should be translated "citation" in english) and are standing at 2 TF, CF 8.

How much power will such a Super Web 2.0, decently built, with a TF 2 CF 8 build out o directories, really have ? Is this a good tactic to use for a long term, legit website or should I opt for GSA spam ? Why do some build them with GSA spam while others use just a couple of directories ? Is it because they'll stay up longer ? How about interlinking these 5-10 web 2.0s ? Linking to one another from them, rising their authority in a circle ? Like from one I link to another, that one links to the 3rd one, then to the 4th, then linking back to the first one in case we have only 5. Then building a separate 5 web 2.0 network with a separate circle link. So therefore building a link circle. I haven't seen people mention this idea on this forum. Is there a problem with it ?

Cause they're not avaliable in my country.

Web 2.0s can be DA 90+ where by a blog isn't going to be anywhere near half that, unless you're spending huge on a domain.

I have read them, but I have not too much talk on how powerful a web 2.0 is. Sure they are more for diversity, etc. but what I wanted to know is how powerful one really is. It will take some time for me to really rest this and get an accurate idea. I want to know weather doing the effort of building 15 or 20 instead of 10 was worth it for my case. I just want to have a general idea about how powerful a Super Web 2.0 is, so that I can make an idea about it's $ worth for my particular case.

Does this mean they are mainly good for sending authority rater than firepower ? I know authority matters. I have rised a domain from 0/0 to 7/10 TF/CF in Majestic with just a link from Wikipedia and some directory links. This was done on a website mainly for testing, a website that is not a money site. Right now I am building 5 web 2.0s for this cobai website for testing, but I said I should also ask here about others experience.

Does this high DA of web 2.0s mean I should rather expect a big increase in trust from google, but not too much firepower ? Similar to wikipedia link ? And the advantage that this trust gives me is that I can be a little more spammy in my link building and maintain a good link profile ?

Are directory links weak links?

By directory I mean places like websitelists.in , either domestic or international. I do not mean places with free guest posting, I just mean places like websitelists where you just submit the website.

Are these called "citations" in english or still "directories" ? I have not seen too much talk about them on BHW but they are still used strongly in my country.

I've browsed the forum a little more. Almost nothing about directories during the last couple of years. Are they dead for the international market ? They are still used strongly in my country.
