Web 2.0 PBN Useful?

web 2.0s are good for:
- diversification
- when you are capable of making tier2 to boost them
- relevancy
- when you cant afford real pbn

but no, pbns have links u wont replicate in ur webs 2.0. depends on competition though

It's still working, but you need to care about it. Setting a blog with one content will not work now. People still using web 2.0 as a parasite to rank their project.

Trying web 2.0 PBN domains are really good for linkbuilding. While getting expired domains you need to see few metrics like Domain rating, Referring domain, Backlinks, alexa ,etc.,

Definitely. Building a strong farm of Web 2.0s these days involves planning to keep the pages and home page of the property high in authority and relevance. But done seriously, they could serve as a permanent PBN site rivaling the paid TLD sites. Ideal example: get an expired Web 2.0 with good basic metrics, and write/publish 10-12 new quality articles about the topic with the same easy-moderate comp keywords as for the target money site. These are the main articles that would link to the money site.

Then over a few weeks, drip in about at least 200-300 additional posts (if you do 10-12 a day, you'll have 300 added in a month) that don't have to be grade A great content. They could be quoted excerpts of articles, or respun/rewritten posts, just ensure they have the same topic and related keywords, and all link to the main property page and link the 10-12 new articles. Then create high quality offpage backlinks to that new content, and to another 30 random pages.

All the new pages should easily index, with 200 or so 'inner pages' linking to each of them. With over 300 pages of total content, and 30 or more of the pages receiving backlinks, it should also be easy to get a good DR rating, and build up other metrics. That would make that one property as useful as a PBN TLD site. If 15-20 properties are prepared the same way in the same manner in the same topical category, this could work as a substitute for a PBN network.

thats insane amount of work and benefits are... diluting link juice, therefore not really benefits

It won't dilute the juice since only the main articles you want to emphasize get the incoming backlinks. It's the link coming out from those key pages (to the money site) you want to be stingy about. It's not insane work to make a post that simply reposts a paragraph from a news item or editorial, doing so 10 x a day over a month will not take much time.

The reason most "Web 2.0s as substitute PBN" concepts don't pan out is they still try to make them thin 5-10 page nothing sites, which is an obvious footprint and does nothing to build or sustain the metrics of the property. The properties need to be solid enough internally to work, in giving the target site they link to authority for ranking purposes.

In my opinion its quite opposite - make spun content - add sometimes one more art - it will work (if you know what you are doing of course)

Not a game changer like it was before but still worth doing it. But the old fashion single post style will not work anymore. @InfinityPeace point out some good things. You need to invest your time in it.
 
it's really good for link diversity. when you focus expired domain I suggest Tumblr, Blogger are good
 
Yes, It's very useful, but you have to create web2.0 links with high-quality contents.

lol. @https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/mohamad-zidani.1019521/ dont use above mentioned spammy spinner methods to make your PBN content, use real authority content style with expired domain. first don't target for traffic, start to increase the quality of websites. Hide as much as footprints when creating those PBN sites. If your can create more and more authority rich content inside of those websites and creating high DA backlinks in schedule for monthly basis, you will be able to get powerful PBN for yourself.
 
I've gathered a few of them, one with a very strong 65 rating but most in the mid 20s to low 30s DA/PA. I send niche relevant content via IFTTT feeds and manually go on every couple of weeks to like and reblog. Definitely the "poor man's PBN" though. Haven't seen much of a boost yet, it's only been a couple of days so far and the pages I'm targeting are PA 16 on a DA 22 site.

You are an IFTTT user so can you please explain in a brief details wnhat IFTTT does ? I tried it but it didn't work for me.

Happy to. IFTTT stands for "If This Than That" and is the same as an "If Then" statement in programming languages. You setup rules (aka Applets) that perform certain tasks when triggered. One example is when NASA posts the daily space picture IFTTT emails it to you.

The restrictions are that when you setup a service like Instagram, Tumblr, etc. to work as a this or that aspect of the applet, you can only use the service on one account. So if you need to use IFTTT to populate the latest Dilbert comic to multiple Tumblr accounts, you'll need multiple IFTTT accounts.
