Web 2.0 Link Building Strategy

Zennoposter is a pain if you want to submit to quality Web 2.0s. They're changing the script often and it's a lot of work to keep all scripts updated. Either join a group of people who are doing the same thing (and share the workload of constantly updating scripts) or use an automated solution, that tries to make Web 2.0 creation as natural as possible. Serengines is that type of service.

Zenno is great for web 2's. In order for templates to work longer, it's better to take very specific footprints than bland ones. Following this brings no need to update for many months. They change layout as much as they want, but that "submit button" will always have some kind of specific footprint to anchor from.

Serengines is great to. A great combo for GSA

What if I put 5 unique articles on 1 web 2.0 site like (livejornal.com) and then put same articles on other sites wordpress.com, blogger.com, yola.com,... So each web 2.0 will have the same 5 articles? Is that ok?

That is what i do now for the last month as a test, the only thing i spin is the title, the first paragraph and the last paragraph, also i change up the images and videos and the placement of them, seem to work just fine

When Creating Web 2.0 Don't just throw 10 articles at once to it. Just schedule your posts 1 per day somewhat like that. Do it manually. Or hire someone to do it for you at cheap price. Content and the pages are the mirracles of 2.0s :D

fc-dh, how many Web 2.0 did you submit using this format? How deep is your spin - title, first and last paragraph? All the articles posted get indexed too?

1) What programs are you using to post web 2.0 articles? I have tried SE Nuke XCr, not great successful rate.

- I do it manually.

2) When posting to web 2.0 sites, are you using the same account and post multiple entries in 1 web 2.0 property? For example, Wordpress.com. Are you using different account when you post to Wordpress.com or just 1 account?

- For wordpress posting I use, article kevo, it has good success rate. I have around 20 different wordpress blog accounts. And I use good quality content.

3) Web 2.0 are pretty heavily spammed right now. A new account/article can easily get deleted after few days. How to prevent it?

- If your article is good quality, it won't get deleted. TO create articles quickly, I usually go to foreign language sites, get article and translate via bing translator, and then rewrite the article. It usually take around 10 - 20 mins in writing the article .

4) What's your strategy in building web 2.0 links that stick.

Good quality articles. They work everywhere

That looks impressive. For 50 web 2.0 sites, how many do you spin for each paragraph?

I think it could be typo error for tier 2. Do you use all non contextual platforms for kitchensinks? I guess you use GSA SER for tier 1 and 2 plus kitchensinks.

How many do i spin each paragraph? I am sorry i don't understand your question, as i sad i do on a sentence and phrase level, sometimes i spin word level but only if the output is still readable.

There is no typo, tier one and two are contextual links ONLY, i use all the options in the kitchen sink links. if you have GSA getting 1K links per property isn't that hard, just keep in mind that you have to add the links that you lose or the power of the web 2.0 will devalue

Maybe an example will be clearer. For your intro or closing paragraph, do you spin them this way eg {paragraph1|paragraph2|paragraph3}? If you do, how many times? For sentence spinning, I also like to know how many times? Word or phrase level is not something I worry too much about. I'm trying to understand the impact of such articles in terms of indexing and ranking. I remembered one guy was teaching this similar method on how to make your article unique when using duplicate content.

About your tier 1 and 2, do you use auto generated content like Kontent Machine, Wicked Article Creator, and SEO Content Machine?

When I say typo, I am referring to your diagram where tier 1 is repeated twice.

I understand about lost links when using GSA SER. It is common. That is why you need to replace them from time to time. I am thinking of using Inspyder Backlink Monitor. It is time consuming to monitor lost links manually especially for tiered linking.

I hired a SEO company and they provide me all links they build. Motherf*ckers do exatly what you are saying below and it works like magic for some reason :/ ... The messed up part is.. the article used for my 2.0 is completely spun and a human can easily tell.. YET I still have been able to rank in 4 months. 5.5k searches

It is called content curation (look it up)

2/3 times is enough, don't overthink this and make readability more important then the % of uniqueness, not for SEO but for A people to click your links and B to prevent deletion by the site owners/mods.

About the links, yeah it should be common knowledge that your have to replace lost links, but trust me it isn't that is why i put it out there, but also with the contextual tiers of the blast i use my content that way, i have found that i lose a lot less links when your GSA content is readable.

I am changing my all my strategies to readability of the content and move way from uniqueness and crappy spun content, it is not really necessary for SEO --cus Google can't read for shit-- but for link retention, these links are going to age and be very valuable for your SEO efforts.

My testing has shown that, but -for the love of god- don't take my word for it, test this yourself...... I could be bullshitting you right now.... Just to get a laugh or to feel important, so before you go all in with this do some testing yourself

Good luck :)

If you are going to take that approach, you should spin the articles and post unique versions of the articles on each web 2.0 site. Duplicate articles will dampen the effectiveness of your first tier.

Tier 1 do-follow contextual links (Web 2.0s) -> Tier 2 do-follow contextual links (Article directories and Wikis) -> Secondary links do-follow (Blog comments, Guestbooks, and Bookmarks)

Let the link juices flow ;)

Please don't take advise from this forum spammer, he doesn't know shit and is only reposting stuff he has read here or on WF, just look at his posting count (almost 1500 in 3 months) and his post history and you will find that he only gives WH open door advice just to spam his sig....

SEO Power knows absolutely NOTHING!!!! He is just pretending to know stuff and it is time that the mods take action on his sig spamming as he has already been warned by Wizz and i have seen people getting banned for much less...

fc-dh, thanks for your input. I have began testing content curation (with a twist) on T1 last week. I am changing the way tier linking is being doing right now. I am putting this to test too. Will see how it goes.

I agree with your point. Readable content is less likely to get your account banned. Over last week a number of T2 has gone after reverification. Probably the content is gibberish. I can't blame it since it is machine generated. You can't expect a lot from readability. I can see how it can turn into a vicious endless cycle. That is probably the reason why I have to at tier linking differently.

I read one post at Scritty's blog about how his majority of traffic is coming from T1. It is an interesting observation. He focuses on click through. I think we should think less SEO more Click Through. I'm also testing the effect of CTR using limited syndication on high traffic Web 2.0 blogs.

I remember in some threads, you mention that T2 is a waste of resources and time. Of course, you did not state the nature of T2 - contextual or non contextual. I wonder what change your mind this time.

Testing, that's what changed my mind...

At that time one tier blastings + a little bit of link crawling was all you needed to rank your sites, so imho it was not necessary to build a decent tier two, when the results of that method where starting drop, i started to figure out why, and after some testing with mid-level keywords and decent two tiers linking methods i found that these keywords where easier to rank with two supported tiers.

So now i am doing tests with unspun articles, or articles that have an type of content curation to see if i can get the links to stick, people in SEO should always be testing, i spend 25% of my monthly income on testing various theories, that is how you can find a view of the many loopholes in the Google algo and grow your business.

Invest in testing, it will pay off later :)

fc-dh, two more questions. About your contextual tiers, do you use any filter eg PR and OBL? I guess you have tested some indexing services. Which one gives better indexing rate?
