Web 2.0 Footprints and Usage

Hi all, I've got a couple of questions about web 2.0's.

1/ I was wondering how careful you need to be when building web 2.0's? I've read in a couple of places that you should only setup 5 web 2.0's per email. Is this correct? Does your IP address play a factor as well? I'm trying to build as natural as possible with no footprints.

2/ Secondly I have built a link wheel of 1 tier of web 2.0's with the intention of ranking a page in my site higher so have all the web 2.0s in the wheel aiming at this page. If I wanted at a later date to use this wheel to point to another page on my site would this flag up to google in any way? Or should I be building another wheel or 2.0's for the other page?

I'd worry more about the meat and potatoes of the web 2.0's. Brand's will use the same email several times. Big and small, no issues. However, from what I can tell account purges are more your enemy than G detection. Make sure you build multiple pages of content (3-5) to help shield yourself from thin content warnings or purges. Make sure you include a privacy page, about page. Make them seem very legitimate. You'll need to perform some upkeep on these too for added protection and general seo upkeep. From what I understand some purges are due to account inactivity.

Focus more on building the web 2.0's out.
If you are to be discovered and penalized by google, it will be due to your poor linking structure/habbits.

1. Web 2.0 registration emails are not public so Google can't see them as far as I know. If you want to be completely sure though, then use unique emails for each, there are plenty of free providers that do not require phone verification. IP doesn't play a role with Google, but it plays a role with web 2.0 platforms themselves. If you register 5 Tumblrs or other accounts from same IP, then they will most likely get deleted eventually.

2. Don't interlink your web 2.0s. Link wheels are long long gone. I personally do not use the same web 2.0 twice. If your money sites are within the same niche, then yes, you can link to multiple money sites, but you need to hide your outbound links with other random outbound links. That limits the power of web 2.0s significantly. So for me personally, it's 1 web 2.0 = 1 money site.

I'm trying to build as natural as possible with no footprints. Link Wheels are 10 years out of date, they were also an easy footprint to find if not done properly.

I had no idea link wheels were so out of date, I'll add that to the growing list of things I've done wrong relating to IM in 2017

I'll look to reorganise to a more tiered approach then and at least hopefully salvage some of the better 2.0's I've made.
