We need to have a seperate section for under 18's

I know I will undoubtedly get my butt ripped for saying this, but I honestly think that we need to do something about the forum and all of the little kids who seem to be all of a sudden running it. I don't really know how you could do it, and I'm not saying that they can't participate, but I wonder if there is any way that we could seperate out a section for "adults only" or possibly not let them post or SOMETHING! There might be one or two decent blackhatters here who are under 18, but I would bet that the majority of them are just here to make posts and stir shit. I know a LOT of decent folks who are fed up with the immaturity of a board that only a couple of months ago was far and above forums like DP and Wicked Fire. Lately, I feel like these kids are overrunning the forum and making a lot of the rest of us who want to be here to learn and make money, not want to come here.

Don't get me wrong, I'm only 25 myself so not saying that we need a bunch of old fogies, but DAMN...this forum needs to have some cleaning out...

i agree. i'm tired of having to sift through threads from 16 year olds. not saying a 16 year old can't have an intelligent thread, but for the most part it is a waste of database space.

well, your post made me realize that when I was younger, I would take more risks than I do today. I think this is a natural evolution that the older you get the more reserve you are...so we should embrace this diversity we have here and not segregate it.

I too agree. I don't mind most of them at all, but you have to have a certain maturity level to be successful and interact well with others.

I don't know if the answer is to lock them out. I think the "theory" of Jr. Vip is the way to go, but for some reason it does not seem to work out well here on BHW.

Maybe a revision of Jr. Vip? Where instead of buying a membership after so many posts, you are voted on my the rest of Jr. Vip kind of like Exec?

I agree there should be an in "inbetween" Jr. VIP and ExecVIP where the members are voted in, but are allowed in greater numbers than ExecVIP.

This thread in no way is about "paid for status." It's about the immature posts that seem to be a continuing problem and getting worse. As far as status with Jr. VIP, Baby VIP, Big Shot VIP.....I could care less because for me personally, there is no way that I can achieve Jr. VIP anymore. Well...there IS a way...and that's to "buy it," but I just don't feel like that's right, so I personally will never be a Jr. VIP and I have resigned myself to that. This isn't about that. We just need a section of the board where the 14 year olds can go and start their immature threads and they can flame each other all they want, act like big shots and not bother those of us who are actually serious about this. That's what I started this thread about..

I'm somewhat new to this forum but i realized very fast that there are a lot of young guys on here some of them are serious about makin some cash and others are here to start shit or pretend there girls ......its pretty hard to sort them out but I was one of the those young guys not too long ago . I got caught for fraud 3 times and I learned my lesson . U dont want to discourage the young ones from makin money because a few of them are the future millionaires ..... mabey just scare em into maturity

While I agree that we need to separate the people who act like they're fucking 12 and the people who are mature enough to have a conversation with and not turn this place into a high school board, it'd be impossible to separate them.

Anyone can click "Yeah, Sure I'm 18 w/e". The only real and true way to tell would be to have an authentication process.

Step #1 : Mail a copy of your birth certificate and driver's license into Harro or Clix or Diamond Dave

Step #2 : Wait while your application into the adult section of the forum is approved

Step #3 : Enjoy

I agree with the concept, but it'd be impossible. Instead we just have to ignore the immature morons.

I love this idea, some of the under 18's here just act so immature with no social or people skills at all.

I was reading a post yesterday where a 15 y.o. Jr Vip was flaming the crap outta people like he owned the forum.

How about implementing it where u need to scan ur passport number into a Admin, and then they can use a service like this http://www.world-check.com/passport-check/ to verify the passport?

There are minors who make more money that people who are over 18. Also on any forum age limit or no age limit you will always get useless post, people who are around to flame, and "fake gurus". I know a lot of members still in there teens that do contribute and take this IM thing seriously.

Now see...to me...I feel that there are DEFINITELY a bunch of over 18s who act like they are 12! But putting that aside, I truly feel that the minors would possibly learn more if they were somehow "contained" and they could still send PMs and over 18s could still go to their forum and help them if they are truly asking for help, but they couldn't post in the main forum and act like idiots.

I've dealt with HelloAll, and I have to say that he acted professional when he was working with me, so I personally have not had a problem with him. And, I don't think he looks like he is crying in the video either...but that's just my opinion.

Bottom line on this is that I hate to see this forum turn into another DP/Wicked Fire and I'm afraid it is turning into that...

OK i love this forum a great deal and whatever will help us progress even more is always welcome. But i think there are lots of "Kids" here who behave better than the so-called adults. On a public forum like this you will always get those who will do anything (even downright stupid) to get noticed or get their post count inflated.

So what am i saying? We should treat the issue of younger members with a way forward in mind and not just see them as "little kids who seem to be all of a sudden running it" Even if we manage to get them out and make it "adults" only. Will it stop the annoying fights, useless posts, irrelevant threads right and left? NO

So i propose we deal with members as they present themselves because there is an adage which says that " a child who has washed his hands is allowed to feast with the elders"

I agree with this thread. We need more ADULT types of maturity here.

I care less if a 15 or 16 year old is a billionaire, if he/she can not hold themselves as a professional, then they should not be here.

Maybe new signups should have to have a credit card to join, such as an adult site will check your card for validity. And there is a way, I am sure, to find out if the card is a visa gift card, debit or what have you.

It definitely seems like this place is a playground for numbskulls to hang out and not do anything productive.
