I've seen a few threads recently by new members who happen to be female. They introduce themselves and basically just get trolled to the point where they never come back to the forum. I'm aware some of them may be e whoring, but my point is we should act a little more civilized when a new member joins, regardless of supposed gender. I know we are better than that.

I anticipate the flaming, trolling and possible neg rep.

That is all.

sometimes i think those female accounts are just fake and in reality they are Male...

Perhaps dude, but that's not my point. Some of them are legit female and because everyone supposes that they are fake, they end up leaving in a huff. I'm not saying we need to give them special treatment, but we shouldn't be acting like idiot trolls from a forum I'm not allowed to mention.

A large proportion of pinterest accounts are males posing as females, the same for facebook accounts, hey maybe that's the same for BHW!

Now be careful when you reply to a fellow female user on BHW, it may just be a guy with a hairy ass and bald head :)

Although I understand your point; if they can't handle some trolling, then forums may not be the best place for them. I have yet to visit a forum free of trolls.

This can't be solved with a thread I'm afraid. And who are the flamers and trolls? I have no idea but I'm thinking probably the ones that don't make any money and still chill on bhw. If thats the case, not revealing your gender would be step one. Its not a good solution to a shitty situation but thats a start. If you wanna come on an internet marketing forum, create an account, and start posting that you are a girl.. the rest doesn't really matter does it. You are 1% here.. what do you expect?

Males are horny and females are hot. There's nothing more to it I feel like.

I couldnt agree more Treeofl1. It reminds me of a thread where some female introduced her self and everyone kept flaming her, I dont think she even replied back to the thread and probably never came back to the forum. I know it may be hard for some people to believe but females do work in our industry too... and people should give them the benefit of the doubt that they are who they say they are.

I'm sure there are dude. I think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt though. Let someone's knowledge and contributions to the forum be what defines them.

i swear to dog .. i was just discussing this in the office today .. i have 8 girls that work for me and we will soon be advertising here :)
and i told them to create their own accounts and the first questions was .. what if we get "weird " emails ?

wow the timing of this post :)

and i have to say .. we all need to keep it in check ..don't treat anyone online different that how you would treat them IRL ..real simple right ?

What the OP says is relevant...

But how does one, work out who is female and who is an ewhore...

That is the problem...

Best of luck to them then dude. And you are exactly right, I bet none of us would go to someone in real life and be like "I bet those are fake".

I can bet you that a fair few people on this forum are females but actually pretending to be a male just because of this and don't want to be treated different either. People should be able to be who they are.

Thanx Treeofl1 for the "Thank yous"
and Theodore .. i will pretend to be whoever you want me to be bigboy :)

but seriously .. if you have been around the net more than a few days you know ..fake only lasts so long ..
its better to invest your energy in something long term ...be it a woman you a pursuing or a business

just my 2 cents .. you can take or leave it

People keep saying "it's guys posing as girls" but why couldn't it be the other way around?

Exactly. What if we all started posting our doubts on some guys introduction thread?
"I bet you're really a chick". It sounds ridiculous, but that's just a lot of us are doing.
