{WE NEED} STOP new users to start threads!

lol it's really tough to decide on how to fix spam issue but time delay and minimum post count can help to some extent. If it's only minimum post then you will get flood of thank you post so time delay should be there also...

for questions noobs can search threads or join in ongoing discussions and ask their question... We are talking about placing limit on creating new thread not stopping them from asking questions in relevant thread.

7-15 days time delay plus 25 posts will give them enough exposure to forum before then can start thread. No loss in activity this way just few less thread... Noobs will have to go through search button for relevant thread soon they will start finding answers on their own.

Apart from this one super thread where link for all good thread of that sub forum... Which thread will be part of that super thread mod and thanks button can help in decision and it should be regular updated... Should be sticky with no answer or posting on thread allowed.

I spent an hour tonight writing a new thread in the make money section only to be told the moderation didn't allow it due to spam...

Just like it did now for no reason !

There are some really good active forums that do this and its worth it. A normal user gets access to some basic forums, and the paying users ($20-30/year) get access to the rest.

Minimum number of posts is bad idea, better would like for first 24-48 hours after registration or so you cannot post nothing. Most likely, if you are new here, your questions have been asked in past. Let them learn to use search function.

There's a lot of old users who should be stopped starting threads too lmao... don't judge a book by it's cover not all newbies to this forum are newbies to IM/SEO and it's a real shame when I see new guys that ARE actually sharing some worthwhile reading material flamed and told "GTFO" or "pics or didn't happen" bullshit just because their user title here is new, I like to think I'm a good judge of character and can spot bullshit a mile off user title or no user title.

those filters are there for a reason, maybe it contained a link, you can't post links with a new account or God knows which words or phrases can trigger the spam filter

if it would have been a legit thread and you can't figure out why you can't post it and you still wanna post it no matter what, you can do 2 things:
1. wait until you have enough posts to post anything, so the spam filter won't be triggered
2. when you'll have 10 posts, post the content of your thread to pastebin or something similar and send the pastebin link (i guess you need to cloak that one too ) in pm to somebody who can post it (even me), the recipient will decide, if it looks ok to post it on your behalf or not and will give credit of course

Only kidding , I have a lot to offer this forum in terms of making online money and I require help and advice for my online shop . We are not all spammers and clowns just after a free ride . Everybody starts out on post count 1 , its just like starting a new job - I might have to get the coffee's in a few times until i'm "excepted"
