Hey whats up BHW, my last post got deleted for some reason so now I'm going to go into detail. maybe that was the problem.

Me and my partner started doing this dropshipping thing, and as of right now we are trial hopping. our goal is to make one or two sales before our trial for bigcommerce ends. we chose bigcommerce because it actually lets customers buy items on the trial. we have been putting our little dollars into facebook and IG ads. What can we do to make at least ONE sale within the next 9 days.

and what are we doing wrong

I think because self promoting like that isn't allowed for the reason that if it was people would spam the shit out of the forum but I am not sure. Maybe a mod can tell. @Zwielicht @BassTrackerBoats

Come prepared ;)

ive been looking for a post like this! thank you.

Another mod deleted your thread yesterday. It looks like you posted it in the wrong section and were asking users to PM you so you could share your site with them. The issue with the latter is that for all we know, you could've been trying to promote your site to others via PM (people get desperate for traffic). Most mods can't view PMs, so it's difficult to know your intent when you do this.

Edit: Also, the droppshipping hookups section isn't for advice, so I've moved your thread.

shopify have 14days trial and also could sell your product. 9 days to sell your products is way too long. ecommerce drive by 3 core things. trust, easy to pay and wide selection. to build trust, put all the important page such as contact us, shipping and return policy, about us etc. to make payment easy, install one of the payment gateway but most customer prefer paypal. paypal sucks but customer love it so deal with it. to have a wide selection, it is easier. you're dropshiipping so list all the product you could find. no cost involved right. so there you go. goodluck.

I can tell you straight away your issues.

- You have no social media following, so don't expect free traffic from there at the moment.
- Your site looks unprofessional. It has a lot of spelling mistakes, a MS Paint logo, no about us/privacy/terms, the products look random and you don't own a TLD.

Edit:

Your pricing is also totally messed up.

You're selling a cheap looking cap for $22.99 which costs $2.38 on AliExpress...

Your comment made me go look, couldn`t believe how on spot you were.. although, I don`t think you can do thransparency in paint for logo, but I might be wrong :p

ill admit i was lazy and did a google font thing in photoshop

I would personally never buy from your site. You cant tell me with a straight face it looks good, Your just tryna get rich quick and throw a site together in 10 minuites. It took my over 28 man hours to build my site that only has 15 different products.

Im still making tweaks to it.

The key to a good site is to make it look simple, secure, professional and clean. Your site is only simple. Your logo is bad, the color way of the site doesn't look nice. The pictures are mis matched in size and arent lined up even.

Get rid of the logo pay someone on fiverr 5 to make one.

I took a quick look at your website, and to be honest it really looks unprofessional and I my self would never trust a website like that and it's the same for everyone , so you need to work on your website make it look good and professional , the logo is a disaster, try to buy a domain name to hide that ugly subdomain, maybe you should move on to shopify it has a trial period and you can make sales during that period plus shopify has some good looking templates . Good Luck

I agree with other comments above:

Your socila media presence is nonexistent. 7 Likes on FB and 150 Followers on IG is nothing. When I started my very first site, I made a sale without spending a dime on ads. I built 3K+ follower base on IG in a particular niche and my first customer was one of my followers.

Website: first of all your site looks like you are color blind. pink-ish gradient logo with plain dark grey bg. WTF? Who told you it was going to be a nice color scheme?

But colors is just a small part of the problem. The bigger issue is that your site doesn't have any sections that will show your customers that you are a real deal and not just greedy dropshipper. It's difficult to convince somebody to give you their money unless they trust You and Your Brand.

There is nothing on your website besides product listings that are at the same time way overpriced.

You only blog post is "Welcome to your blog! A blog is a great place to share details on your products, business and whatever else you think your shoppers might like to hear from you. You can include photos in your blog..."

It clearly shows your visitors that your site either 1 day old or you don't give an F. Adding quality content about either your products or your brand will help to build your reputation.

Consider adding About Us, FAQ, Instragram Feed... may be a contact form... Right now, I don't even know where you are located...

If you really put a little more time and effort in upgrading your site, you will enjoy better results. Otherwise, I would recommend doing Affiliate Marketing, you can just send your social media traffic to product pages with higher chances to convert...

do you realize that you can remove the password protection?

The most important question here: If you visited this site (and didn't own it), would you buy anything from it?

im so new to this and i kinda rushed into it i didnt even stop and think about that o_O my bad

they said i needed to choose a plan buy it before they would let me remove the password

it doesn't matter man. I guarantee you that even if people can get to your site no one will buy anything because of the way it looks now. Have you seen other female oriented sites selling clothing and jewelry? How many of them had dark grey backgrounds?

Dude I would feel like this site would either steal my credit card information, I would never get the product, or If I did after months of waiting it would be very cheap and probably arrive broken do to poor packaging and getting support/returns would be a nightmare. You said it yourself it's just a churn a burn site. I don't think you could even get your grandma to buy something off that site. Remember the quicker you build it and earn some money the quicker it will fall apart and the cashflow will leave you. Focus on long term not get rich quick.

Don't feel too bad about it, many people did this! It's how you deal with it after the failure ;)

Are you going to give up like a pussy or persevere?
