And I found the feature amusing, really talks about humility.
Reported.
Kidding, but yes - there are valid reasons to report yourself. I've done it before when my browser has glitched and caused my message to double and triple-post.
The report feature on Black Hat World isn’t as strict as it is on other forums, so there are many reasons a user might report their own post. For instance, they might report their own post:
Of course, it’s better to just PM a mod about those issues directly, but as long as members aren’t flooding the reports section asking us to remove a bunch of their threads, it’s generally fine for users to report their own posts for the aforementioned reasons.
- If they want their freebie thread (or any thread) closed.
- If they want their thread moved to a different section.
- If they posted something they didn’t want to and realised it after the edit time limit.
- If they want to apply updated BB code to their thread.
Sometimes I have to report my posts for being too good for BHW.
