I totally agree with this ... CEO's of charities take millions a year from "donations". It's not a charity, its basically a corporation in which each executive role makes far too much money by playing with people's feelings.

C'mon guys, OP is not doing this. He just said it's a possibility. Unfortunately I am sure that there will be some blackhatters which have read this thread and now are planning to bank on the misery of some thousands people. And the most annoying thing for me is that press and televisions are banking seriously when thins kind of unfortunate events are happening.

If you were to make money off of this tragedy it would only be right to give that money to the people suffering from the storms effects.


Like many users have already mentioned though, there are people making money off of this regardless. TV stations have the best coverage of the storm are getting advertising revenue from their ratings.

Remember Haiti Eq days?
At that time, our members displayed true magnanimity and great virtue, levels above this present lot... Guess what? Some of you would have really surprised them! Most of them, I think, are the victims now.

And yes, this is as great a calamity as Haiti, if you look at it in a more humane way.

I will also pray that your own home and dear ones inside it are not found to be in the way of a great fireball sometime soon. I shall also pray that no one films it, not even you, and make millions of dollars out of the immense tragedy...

You hope that some member(s) here is/are not already getting ideas about how to air that event and make a windfall of greenbacks out of it when it eventually happens... with such huge display of callousness, can't blame them too.

I remember that the owner and top members of this great forum were leading most of us in going all out to make the Haiti victims feel a bit more loved, a bit more cared for, and wipe away their tears and allow them to regain strength, and more important, their belief that they must begin to live again. And yes, for your information if you care for it, no body called those great members, top ones and bottom ones and all those in between included, 'hypocrites' then... the swollen balls would have immediately rolled out if some one had mentioned the word...

I think you were here at that time too as a member, having joined BHW way back in July, 2008 (and I guess I should have waited another month to join, in honor and respect ofc)... you must not have forgotten!!!.. It happened only in 2010 A.D.!!!

They should rename this forum "Self-Righteous Moralist World". Everyone has such clear ideas on how other people should and should not make their money. Too bad they don't practice what they preach. There should be an entrance exam, to this forum, the primary purpose of which is to determine if people can tell the difference between what is their business, and what is none of their business.

OP, if you can figure out how to monetize on this disaster, don't waste any time listening to a pack of retarded losers wail on about the fate of your immortal soul. You keep your head straight about who is responsible for taking care of you, because these people are not going to be there for you when you experience on of life's inevitable disasters, be it serious illness, legal problems, financial issues, etc... and having a fat & healthy bank account might bake the difference between freedom and incarceration, comfort and homelessness, or life & death.

And none of these people are going to be there for you when you need them. They won't give a fuck what happens to you. They won't even know, as they'll be too busy bouncing from one retarded disaster after another, wailing about their circumstances, insisting they are victims, MORAL victims and undeserving of whatever tragedy has befallen them, and that's how they justify not being prepared for it. They are GOOD PEOPLE, and don't deserve "this" (whatever "this" may be), and so we are all supposed to take care of these good people.

Don't follow their retarded example. Take responsibility for yourself, and your family. Take care of yourself, and your family. Don't listen to the perpetual victims, the beggars, the whiners and the "do-gooders" that have never really done any good other than to advocate the redistribution of money that was earned by someone else. Earn money any legal way you can, as much as you can and save as much as you can as a safeguard against the inevitable hurricane. There will ALWAYS be hurricanes. I don't mean to sound like I don't care about the dead, I do, forty people dead is actually a lower number than I had expected with such a disaster though.

How about the living?
Fifty to sixty million people are affected by this tragedy. Those people may look "forward" to years of aftermath.

I don't know about others but I wouldn't sleep well making money on the suffering of those affected by offering a live stream. There will be money made of course, it all needs to be rebuild too, but to me this is slightly different than offering a webcam into living hell to make a fast buck. Others may rationalize the suffering and look for other bad things in this world to justify their actions, there are still people sniffing glue too...
