We are all brain rotting?

Exactly. I’m just curious to know what you would suggest to avoid “brain rot” and stay genuinely productive. I’d appreciate practical methods or routines that have worked well for you, like @Panther28 did.
I don't droom stroll -A. I am more of a reader. But when I search for things, I specifically take note (in my phone's note app) of what I find truly helpful. This way I keep adding information and reducing the part that are monotonous. It actually helped me de-clutter a lot. So maybe find something that you truly resonate with, maybe writing perhanps?

i just updated my board @l0cke how about you? :)

I have now a :/ and 2 x :) lol i havn't started any of my other goals yet, will defo have another couple starting so i'll update those too. Looking forward to having like in the end abut 12 goals with emojis this year.

It defiantly seems to help keep your worry very much down and your focus up. I've decided that nothing keeps the worry away really! lol You just have to keep your focus more inbetween more brain rotting.

There is a law of nature where, when you push more time of something in, other things are pushed out. Seems obvious, lol but you want to handle that as carefully as you can, and LOOK for an excuse to work on your goals.

If you work on your goals most of the time. On IM stuff, you are problem solving every millisecond, lol and keeping your brain away from brain rot and instead keeping it active.

our ability to solve problems is all we can take to the market after all.

I used to think brain rot only came from watching low quality TikToks, over simulative reels, memes or doom-scrolling. Because of that belief, I convinced myself that consuming “useful” or educational content through TikToks and reels was always productive.

Recently, I learned that assumption was wrong.

Our brains aren’t designed to process too many inputs at once. Even helpful content becomes brain rot when it’s consumed continuously without pause, reflection, or application. If we don’t slow down to think about what we’ve learned, or actually use it, it just passes through us. Nothing sticks.

After hearing this, I tried recalling useful things I’d watched recently. Honestly? Almost nothing stayed with me.

That realization was unsettling :(
I recently realized this too, Highly intelligent people needs execution to be successful.

I just realized this recently, The ones who act, even with less knowledge end up running the game.

I updated my board yesterday and started with one big :). I’ve also set a clear timeframe to achieve it. I even bought a mobile stand to make sure my phone stays on the desk instead of in my hands or my pocket, so I can stay more focused and disciplined. I think it's kinda working

I’m hoping to add more soon. I’ve got a bunch of goals in my head, but not everything can be done at once. Just figuring out what’s most important now and what I can focus on later. I am not procrastinating tho
