I was wondering about this stuff and couldn't find a thread on BHW about this. If you do not know about WDF and IDF, I added the following section with a quick explanation.

WDF: Within-Document-Frequency
IDF: Inverse-Document-Frequency

For those who are familiar with advanced math, that's how they work:

within-document-frequency-300x79.gif

inverse-document-frequency-300x82.gif

The formular of WDF * IDF checks a given number of top results on a keyword for other words that are commonly used along the keyword. By doing that, google knows if a site is a real site or just some keyword stuffing nonsense (which could also be the case if your text doesn't use the same related words that top results have).

My question is: Has anybody tested this long term? And if so, are there good tools available for it? I'd especially be interested in a tool that can differentiate between languages (google.com/.fr/.co.uk/.de). since all the stuff I'm using now is set on a specific language.

If this stuff works, writing texts could be optimized a lot.
