Generally,Porn sites are better to be on Tube but if it will be used on Dating Forums then one nice promotions can be there.

Promotion can be done in many ways, if you can make press release for it like if its possible, do it. If you can do guest posting to a big community of hungry men, do it.

Porn Tube Sites are probably the best way to promote a porn site, but you need to use a program like AVS Submitter for a 2 or 3 month campaign uploading at least 5 videos a day to all the tube sites to build promotion.
Youtube can also be good if you have it linked to a page with "18+ Yes or No" page to enter the main site. The playboy plus does this on youtube.

Twitter and Instagram can also be used to build brand awareness if your posting non adult images. Several Models and Porn companies use them for brand building.

You should try sites where violence and gore are also promoted. Porn and things that desensitize you after habitually viewing it are similar. Plus, several people like viewing violence and death videos. Perhaps, out of curiousity.
