Hello everyone, first of all I would like to thank all those who want to support with advice or those who take the time to read this.

I make music with a friend, we both normally produce electronic music but the situation in our country forced us to want to monetize our skills to survive. So, we have thought of multiple things.

We made a YouTube channel posting free beats from Hip hop, rap, or even electronic music projects. We hope to get something from the public through this medium. We also share our songs on Facebook groups and Reddit subforums.

We thought about signing up on Fiverr to sell songs to people interested in buying them and joining a page to sell our ready-made instrumentals. The process has been slow. We plan to find other forms of free advertising thanks to social networks like hastag on instagram, some pins on pinterest and maybe some answers on Quora.

But I have heard a lot that it is difficult to get a sale on Fiverr and more so if our account is in Venezuela.

So what do you think? Do you think our idea has some kind of future? Do you think we should change everything or improve something?

Thank you very much.

Maybe game developers could bring few sales. There are places like unity assets store where people sell music packs that are then used in games, I bought few packs there personally when making mobile game.

You Can also Try Spotify!
We are talking to a distributor who was interested in some of our songs and they are going to upload them to Spotify. So we hope this is positive!. Thank you for the support my friend!

YT could help your content gain traction.
Especially, trap mixes.

Get to number 1 on the billboard charts?

What about tiktok? Record yourself producing music, messing around with pads or something interesting.
Your videos should be in english (titles and tags) and your profile should have links to your music (youtube/ spotify/ whatever)

I'm not interested in being an artist, but a producer for other artists, genius.

I've been trying it with YouTube, using names with little competition but with enough searches and sharing the songs on facebook groups or reddit subforums. But the reality is that so far I have gotten very few visits and the worst of all is that I am giving away songs, we have not started selling them yet

It's a good idea, but I've had a very bad experience with Tik Tok, thanks for the help
