Ways to monetize Deviantart traffic?

Have been doing a quick test on a fake Deviantart account, uploading a few public domain photos of art (paintings, drawing, digital art) and each one got hundreds of views and a lot of favorites and comments.

I found a pencil drawing course on Clickbank, so decided to use one of their provided email messages with an affiliate link and put it in the description of each upload on Deviantart.

Even though my uploads got a lot of views, not one single person clicked through to my affiliate link.

Just wondering, since this appears to be an easy way to get the attention of a large niche audience on a social network, what would be a better way of monetizing?

Create an attractive girl profile and send traffic to dating smart link. As an idea.

The classic way is promoting your own sites (download pics/wallpaper site) with ppc ads on them.

You can do something like “you can download high resolution of this art on my site…” and so on.

Maybe print on demand, Etsy digital downloads?

Art is subjective, so while many people look, very few buy.

Otherwise all artists would be rich!

Find a pencil drawing course on youtube, connect any cpa link to the course with content locking. Make money when people do a survey or something similar to see the content. There are cpa links for 2-3 dollars per transaction.

That could work, but I need to be able to drive the traffic. I didn't get a single click on my link I had in the descriptions.

You should write a more effective message. There are many sales methods related to this. It is usually referred to as an e-mail message, but you can use it on different platforms with changes.
