Hey. I've looked in to this a bit but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for among the various plugings. So thought I'd ask the opinion of people who've done / are doing the same thing. Basically I'm looking to make a lot of niche websites, but downloading all the plugins and fixing their settings (Yoast SEO, Totalcache, Social plugins, basic wordpress settings etc etc.) is pretty time consuming. I'd like to be able to just copy one of my current niche sites, making a template sort of, to just upload to every fresh wordpress installation to save myself a lot of time. So no need to copy content, just the rest. So, dear bhwers, anyone got experience with this and knows the simplest way?

Thanks a lot in advance.

May be Updraftplus can do this. i don't know, it is very close, im feeling lazy to explain it here :D

Set up one blank website with all the pluggins and themes on there, copy files over to new location and copy the database over also. Set up your wp-config file and add your content.

Done.

If you are technically capable a script could do all this for you.

Decided to give WPmanage a try. Hadn't even thought of handling them all from the same dashboard (and seems there is no Google footprint the way wpmanager works either, which makes this a good solution). Thanks for the tips guys. Will know soon enough if the cloning works as I intended, but if you don't hear from me in this thread again in the next couple of days, you can assume it did.

Yea totally the WP plugin Updraftplus Backup is what you need. Install a new Wp on a domain name, install your plugins, themes and adjust your settings once it's done all you had to do is install another Updraftplus on a new WP installation and migrate your template will all the settings..

When this is done then you can add the content on your websites.
