Ways to insert backlinks in wordpress themes

One way to get backlinks is to insert backlinks in worpress themes and then distributing them for free. Can somebody please share some methods to do this?

A few days ago I downloaded a theme which had a few backlinks in the footer. It was encrypted html code in footer.php I think for noobs it ll be hard to find out how to remove it. So just put in some encrypted code.

Can u please tell me the name of the theme. I'll decrypt the code to find out its strategy.
 
a lot of footers are coming out with encrypted code in them. Just delete that code and replace it with code from a non encrypted theme. you might need to play around with it a bit, but it can be done..
PM me if you want some code to try..
 
I lookup the footer source from firefox and c/p the code to footer. After a few tries bang heres your unencrypted footer.
Also if your theme has blogroll on sidebar try adding your backlink within <li> codes. It blends perfectly and an amateur won't notice he added you to his blogroll.
 
ok I just found a decoder for the footer of WP.
I tryed it on one of my new blog themes and it worked.
this decoder converts the encrypted code back to php / html so you can edit it.

If you have a footer that is encoded, and want it decoded, let me know.
send me the footer.php file and I will return the decrypted code to you.
works 95% of the time
 
I did it for mine to disguise the plugins and themes that im using... then you have 2 backlinks at least but still not many people see them and the people that are looking for the plugins will be interested in the site im promoting too.

well
with wordpress you can usually see peoples plugins and themes they are using

then i put an index.html file there just simply saying 'fuck off your not seeing this' as mostly will be competitors trying to see etc and then i put my link and a lil description... so at the moment im putting links to an information site about autoblogs......

however you could put one to a related affiliate product for the competitors who will probably buy....

think out the box :) and either way you still get a backlink
 
Oh ok. I was confused as I didnt see where we were talking about the plugins and themes directory. Just read this whole post as being about decrypting the footer of a wp theme.

Yes I always put a redirection php file in those directories

hello lewi. i dont the wp-content/plugins or themes works for all wp-blogs. I tried it on 2..worked for one and didnt work for the second.

Wow I did not realize you could do that, I figured that it was locked automatically. Thanks for opening my eyes! Now I have my sub-directors locked up tight.
 
its really easy to decode the footer :P , well i have a trick to get backlinks :D and people who know how to decode it, they will also not going to remove backlinks :D just add hidden backlinks :D
 
many people do it to promote their site or sell links

i made alot of $$$ designing themes and selling footer links
 
Ah :) So you distribute the index.html with your plugins or themes, and it gets indexed by big-G? Man thats crimini-criminal :) LOL
