Ways to get traffic why pandalized

So a lot of us are still trying to figure out how to get our lost traffic back since the last slap. My theory on it is anchor text variation. I have about 50% keyword and simple variation like blue keyword, great keyword. etc. And then lots of longer tail keywords, and then very little natural keywords. I have not used blog networks.

My plan so far is to build more web 2.0's with click here, more information, etc and blast them with SB.

In the meantime, this is my only source of income since losing my job 2 years ago and turning my hobby site into a my income. In hind sight I should have built many sites, but I am a idiot I guess.

So with that said and trying to keep a roof over my house, do any of you guys out there have some creative ideas to drive traffic to your site while you are trying to get back on top and build other sites?

You always have the option of buying adwords traffic. Another option is to drive some traffic through social networking sites like Facebook & Twitter through page promotion etc.

I'm doing the same as you right now when it comes to diversifying anchor text to include things like click here, etc...

I have bought some fiverr gigs for retweets, I haven't seen any results yet, but its early.

My site is under penalty so I don't think anything I do right now will improve my rankings. But, I need to continue link building so when I do come out of the penalty box I will not have lost my rankings.
