Watermark Percentage

Hi All,

I asked my graphics guy for a watermark over some artwork he had designed and what he gave me seems to be waaayyy too pronounced.

Is there a percentage most of you use for your watermarks? Because if I go to Staples and get this copied now... it will look like an 8.5 x 11 watermark.

I decided to get a consensus before I ask my graphics guy to fix it because I think he'll tell me that it's whatever I want it to be.

Just made this for you, I personally wouldn't go lower than 30%. These were done with photoshop so just tell the designer you want the layer opacity changed on the watermark to one of those percentages.

25% is enough but the watermark should be complicated enough to confuse the person who is copying.
