whois is the one for me, with Godaddy you have to read the small print always

The have the most aggressive up selling tactics that I have ever seen online. Even really cheap clickbank sites cannot beat them.
 
Use a fake email to sign up as well since buying anything from them puts you on their 3 email a day spam list.
 
They're so shady. Is there any way to check if you have one of these free trials on your acct without having to call?

Log in to your Account Manager.

Click the My Renewals & Upgrades heading to expand the section.

Click Payments & Renewing Items.

I had something similar happen to me, so I'm getting a refund. Extremely frustrated with Godaddy right now. :(
 
I recently switched to netfirms because of this. Thanks to a coupon code on here I got a .com for $5, no hassle what so ever and no aggresive upselling and the control panel is a million times better,
 
i did not notice the small write ... and charge $4 ... cancel it right away, thanks :)
 
This is exactly the reason I do not do business with godaddy. They try to f*&k you every time. All the domains I registered with them as a noob has since been changed to namecheap.
