Have to do my tax and checking my expenses for 2016..

Well, 2016 was the first year, I really hammered some $$$$ to test different ideas and what so ever...
(I had a nice side job so I could spend some bucks ;) )

Sadly, the only thing that really worked investing money in for me:
  • Using services to find HQ aged domains.
  • Buying aged domains and turning them into blogs
  • Buying PBN posts
  • Buying Fiverr T1/T2 pyramid for a web2.0 and ranking a kwfinder diff. 19 keyword in 1 week to #9 ;)
  • buying cheap Fiverr 4k social signals for 5$ and getting amazing stats for ahrefs on that web2.0 ;)
  • using Mass video blaster and marketing blaster to fine tune meta and mass upload to youtube
  • Buying Serplab tracker & ahrefs account.
  • using SMSPVA for PhonYverifY youtube accounts (when I was to lazy to swap sim cards)
  • Macbook air

So, for the "wasted list" (I only list 3-digit amounts here.. not the small crap)

  • 1141€ for Paid Traffic from local sites, Bing, Adwords, Sirius. Adwords is to expensive, bing is average. Sirius is ok, but kind of expensive to.
    • 111€ for Bing.. tested different niches and offers and services.. nada
    • 197€ for Adwords - also crap
    • 353€ for Sirus (At least I got ROI there..), but still, wasted, cause not lasting.
    • 250€ Local site. Tested 5 different offers - not 1 fucking conversion. expensive too
    • 93€ Reporo. 3rd worst traffic ever. only bots!
    • 70€ local site. Nada..
    • 58€ for twitter (what a shithole of wasted clicks)
    • 9€ facebook ads, that got my facebook ads account banned
  • 205€ for black hat links consisting of
    • social signals an (too expensive, too few!)
    • web2.0 articles on random sites. no link juice what so ever, rather spend 10$ for a PBN post than 10$ for 50 of those links.
  • 489€ for Youtube Services, like Likes, Views.
    • effect was tiny, and just marginal :(
    • boosting videos for YOUTUBE SERPS is like REALLY expensive :/
  • 365€ for Proxies
    • tried mass planner and spamming the usual OGADS+IG method
    • way to expensive.
    • It's just not my thing. Stopped that in 10/2016
This whole paid traffic thing saddens me - it's just wasted money... even if you blast some shitty link pyramid links to web2.0, you could still use it somehow..

Conclusion
-STOP USING PAID ADS
-Stop pumping views & likes on youtube videos to high amount

-Invest into expired domains, set them up nicely, use them as additional backlinks
-buy some PBN blogposts.
-setup more web2.0 sites and blasting them with fiver pyramids and rank lowcomp KWs page 1 in 1 week ;)

Can you suggest some of the Fiveer pyramids services you have used.

You also said "Fiverr 4k social signals for 5$". Can you please share link to that gig.

I dont know if I am allowed to do that here

Well i don't have much input except that Paid ads can be very powerful too, just that you spread your budget on too many traffic sources.

Suggest you to save up 10k, choose 1 traffic source and do it all again, jump from one to another won't get you anywhere, except another hole in your pocket.

nah, I suck ad paid ads. done for me.

Thank you for the great report! Much appreciated.

Ok, update. Cause I finished analyizing the stuff:

The good:
PBN Posts -809,68

So, for the "wasted list" (I only list 3-digit amounts here.. not the small crap)

Paid Traffic -1192,65 (providers listed above)

youtube services -582,36 (likes, shares, views).
but was my fault, cause I blow too much on too many videos..

Proxy Server -387,57
for this whol spamming IG method stuff.. money is gone. 4ever

Autoresponder -190,4
cause I pay per each mail... later found out there are fiver sellers that do the stuff for 10€ I paid 190€ for :/

SEO Services -158,43
blackhat link provider shit - waste of money. for 1/10 of their price 10 what they deliver. dont want to mention their name here.

This is really helpful. Would love to see more expenses like this from others broken down by what has and what hasn't.
