Wasted 2.5k on courses

Download the course and reupload to mega. You can try to sell access.

Aside this, your money is gone. You just learnt a good lesson - never buy courses when Google, YouTube and free material sites exist on the internet.

For me I they are available on Torrents if I want to download them.

A lot of people mentioning just use Youtube/Google,

I think doing due diligence, and researching the course with a lot of recommendations, courses offer the structure and roadmap that is already compiled into bite sized chunks.
Im not in the business of courses, but a lot of programming tutorials on Youtube and online tutorials, do not offer the advanced skillsets that employers are looking for, and senior devs etc know the tricks of the trade, and unlikely to give it away for free.

Whenever its come to learning actual clusters of a particular area (for example, something like an advanced vue js course) you get the free youtube channels, that also cover 10 other programming language tutorials (jack of all trades, master of none springs to mind) with no indepth explanation.
My company paid for a lot of good courses that described exactly what we were looking for, and things we didnt know we needed.

tl;dr: Free courses are good, if you know what to look for, paid courses and some common sense, presents learning structure, resources and an actual incentive to teach

Or better yet: torrent

I think it is a decent business lesson. The courses are shit, yet someone intelligent like you spent 2.5K on them. It means Investopedia does something right. .

Try to think about it and benefit from it in your own online business. What attracted you to the courses? What did they well on the sales pages? What one piece of information made you eventually purchase the curses? Did they remarket to you in any way once you visited their pages for the first time? Did they upsell you on something?

You may have wasted $2.5K. But perhaps you can make it back 10 times in your IM business, if you benefit from the lessons learned here,,,
It was just his bad luck. They are no marketing genius. Haha

I'm sorry to hear that, but the facts are:
1. You didn't do your research.
2. You paid for the courses.
3. They delivered them as promised.
4. It took you over a month to check them and ask for a refund.

I wouldn't refund you if you were my client.

Wasn't asking for a refund was just looking for suggestions on ways I can now use the material try and make the money back.

It was just his bad luck. They are no marketing genius. Haha

It's their bad luck for shooting their own reputation in the foot with such shitty courses which was based on trust. Now I think twice before clicking on an investopedia page in the serps when researching something on trading. There are a number of good options now. Not just them.

Wasn't asking for a refund was just looking for suggestions on ways I can now use the material try and make the money back.
Looks like I misunderstood you, sorry mate.

Mate you do not spend 2.5K by bad luck, unless you are a millionaire :). OP doesn't seem to me like some stupid guy, and yet he opened his wallet big time to get the courses.

95% of sales made in any field have nothing to do with the quality of the product. The product may have quality or not, but it is marketing and sales funnel that makes the difference...
Do not know Investopedia much, but I tell you they do something right when someone with normal income spends $2.5K on their shitty courses...

you can just make use of the material inside the courses and sell it off yourself, giving abit of sample can also help in selling it as others will see or know how hard or advanced it is

I don't think you have any right to refund as they claim.
Who paid $2.5k for such and fail to open it for a month.
If the payment has been through PayPal or credit card, there is a 70% chance you could get your money back.
For Revolut, you can made a complain to the support maybe they can do something for you. You never can say.

Move on will be wiser move, instead of wasting your time trying to sell this course (which will eventually wasting your buyer's time as well)

Unless you can market those to 100-year old investing noobs which will be happy in buying

Courses are great. It's not "courses" people need to stop buying.

It's generic make money courses.

Don't buy shit like "Become a Super Affiliate in 90 Days", or "The Masters Guide to Mastering Real Estate"

Learn REAL skills from courses.

Buy something like

https://cxl.com/institute/programs/conversion-optimization/
and learn CRO.

"courses" generally is a word used for crap though.

But education is definitely not something to avoid.

It's really simple. If the thing teaches you a specific skill. It's probably good. If it teaches you something broad like making money, or mastering ads, it's not.

You need to learn actual skills that will help you improve your own, specific business. No one can teach you how to "make money". You need to have the drive and the intelligence to be able to push forward, then educate yourself on the skills that will help you.

And why would you get a course on investing. There are endless good books.

And you need money and time with investing. 25 years, 10-12% annual returns and a few grand a month and you're a millionaire. $3k/mo for 25 years with 11% interest is $5mil. That's how you get rich with investing. You aren't going to turn $10k into $500k ;-) Especially not from some course. The only way to turn $10k into $500k is to sell a course on investing to desperate people who want fast easy cash.

It's not hard to make 10-12% annual returns on your money. That's all you need to do for 25 years and you've got some serious wealth. More than 99.99% here will ever have, just with some patience and common sense investing.

I spent this amount on Investopedia "academy" for courses on the markets. And as an avid fan and reader on trading and investing, they were extremely poor to the say the least. As if they were designed for 100 year olds who just learned how to use the internet last week. No prior warnings about just how basic the material is was given.

I asked for a refund and they said I wasn't eligible for one. Now what can I do to try and get my money back? Have about 20 courses in total with a couple of hours of material.
Now u can waste another 2.5k in bhw marketplace :D cheers

You can make your money back by investing. The courses didn't teach you anything you didn't know? Honestly, I read investopedia once in awhile but I had no idea that they sell courses lol

If it was a credit card transaction you can charge it back because you didn't receive what you thought you would receive.

Charge it back. Claim FRAUD and it's those "internet scammers" again

Then try these free courses

Never pay for ANY investment course.

They are all scams because "investing" is a casino and you are the "mark"

Sincerely,

The Eye

you should stick bhw money making guides, some is really good, few years ago i bought one for 60$ and made more than 7k, another one i bought for 40$ and with the method i still earning (400$ so far)

offcourse not all bhw guides are good, some is useless or requires too much time to work, but you need to try

Courses are a waste of money you can find every course online for like $1

I'm sorry to hear that. Apparently... This is the idea of the courses. Especially such that claim to teach you how to make money.

Just think about it.. if there was anyone who had invent the magic trading trick.. why the heck he would share it , sell it for nuts ( if I had such formula.. was gonna sell it not for 10$ not for 100$ not even 2000$ but for millions).

In such courses you are the product!
