was there just an algorithm change last night?

I noticed 8 of my sites that used to be on page 1 are now not on the top 10 pages in Google. They were ranking just fine yesterday.

They are still on page 1 of Yahoo and Bing.

I can't find any info about a recent algo change but maybe it's so recent no one knows yet.

I suppose it could be a random bounce. All 8 sites are unrelated and are not interlinked. No spammy SEO or anything shady like that, and they are all high-quality, handwritten content. They are all on the same shared hosting but that shouldn't be a problem because they're not interlinked. Also, they all have the same AdSense account on them so even if they were on different hosting, Google would still know they are all mine. I have other sites on the same shared hosting account that are still ranking normally.

I wouldn't have even noticed except my AdSense impressions were way down today so I checked

I don't now if it's confirmed or not but a lot of people are talking about it. luckily I wasn't affected this time

I kinda doubt there was an algo change since none of my websites got any changes ....and i do have quite alot and not all authority websites.

might be a nice big dance as i've seen wierd "dances" recently.

I had a little boost yesterday but last 2 weeks were very bad

Don't know about others. but 2 of my blogs have dropped. from page 1 to 7/8. both of them were new. 1/2 months old

That other thread answered it. Most of my sites are back or close to their previous rankings. Mods can close this thread.

there is an update for overly SEO'd sites coming through the pipeline. They are testing it, looks like it will drop for everyone in the next month...

Faced the same problem..But after doing some SEO Work gain my ranking again......
