Hi there, all my sites have plummeted about over 60 places all over night at the same time. I'm trying to figure out what happened, were there any updates yesterday that caused this? thanks

Google doesnt announce updates until they have been implemented and fixed up. You'll get an answer to that in 3+months.
Unless there was no update and it could be that your backlinks died.
 
Never noticed any announced update or implemented changes on my side. If there was indeed an update, we will hear of it in a couple of days.

I just got the message now from google webmaster tools showing "thin content"
[h=3]Thin content[/h]Google has detected that some of your pages may be using techniques that are outside our Webmaster Guidelines.

there are other crappier sites in the same niche, still ranking in 3rd spot for google with even thinner and crappier content, WTF? and I am the lucky one that gets chosen for a manual review. F**K

is it because I am registered with google webmaster tools that I get reviewed and slapped? is it best NOT to have google webmaster tools?

Well I'm using Google Webmaster Tool and I did not get slapped, so I don't really think it's because of that.
 
I noticed a few of my sites take a slight hit, whilst some are still ok
 
maybe your competitors were afraid you would overtake them and reported you? :p
 
Officially i didnt saw anything but i heard from some of my friends that # is shaking though . think its happening -_-
 
A manual review can happen at any time. That does not mean there is a panda update.
