I just checked the traffic on one of my websites and my traffic was cut in half starting February 19th. I checked Serpbook and saw that I dropped from the 1st page to like the 7th page for 15-20 major keywords around the 19th and 20th. I have not done a single ounce of link building, or anything remotely close to black hat. In fact, I haven't done anything. The site has been up for 2 years. WTF just happened?
Was there a Google update last week?

I checked both sites and it doesn't look like anything drastic happened on those 2 particular days I mentioned

when you look on Algoroo you see that G has been updating their Algo almost everyday for the last 6 weeks. If there were no big movements on the days you got hit, that doesnt mean there was no (smaller) update.
The fact that your sites are white hat sucks and proves the point that blackhat is the way to go. Whats the point of investing tons of time building a site the M.Cutts way if you cannot be sure not to get penalized or lose your position to some blackhat sites?

I was building a nice white hat site and my 2 keywords were moving up nicely to no's 16 and 20. The one at 16 has dropped to 264. Go figure. Time to start the black machine...lol

Some weird changes are happening. Some sites are jumping from nowhere to first page and some are disappearing. I have been watching a few niches and changes are happening every single hour.

I mostly work with Adsense and they are not keen on social traffic...And time to start promoting sites through social newtworks etc, not for google.

The same thing is happening with my clients' sites as well. I don't know what kinds of changes will come in upcoming days.

So it is not me. I am seeing changes after every few minutes. One moment site is on page 1, next moment gone. Something is definitely going on.
