Well 3.0 rolled out for me. All my money sites are gone (2 that is). I only have like 5 websites in total.

Last month because my income has been solid for 3 months, I signed a lease for 2k/month office and hired one girl to work for me. All based on this income from my sites.

Well right now, I do not know how I will pay my next months payment. So if 3.0 fucked you hard, do not worry, theres people like me in your position.

Saying that, I know in a year I will be making BIG $ in the future because for some reason I am MORE motivated than ever. This time, not taking shortcuts.

I hired a seo company for $70 a month from India for my websites and 3 months into to (spam) service I bought Sape links which got me #1.

To conclude, there is no easy way to life.. shit catch up to you. Until you reach the top.

I will be back, much smarter.

Google has screwed me 2 years in a row in October. Now I will attack again, but this time I will be smarter as well. There are a few sites in my niche that have survived 2 years with spammy links so I need to learn how they did it XD
 

I am sorry to hear that, but as you said "shit happens".

Keep yourself motivated and work hard as that's the only way to get back into the game.
 
wow that's a hard one, sorry to hear that. It's good that you're planning to get back up though, ideally if you can try not to rely that much on traffic from the search engines, though depending on the niche you're that could be a hard thing to achieve.
 
well i completely support and feed my family needs from my sites and all of them are gone, so you know how im feeling right now, i feel like matt cutts should lost everything he got so it get this feeling too. I was surviving all penguin but this one remind me of the second penguin that changed SERP totally. So this is all about to start new website and wait to see what changed before building links.
 
Spam n SAPE? That's pretty much your answers why it happened. next time, Use better quality links :)

Keep working and you'll get back there, much stronger. Focus on building authority links. Don't buy spam services
 
Relying on SEO as a form of stable income is one of the less intelligent things a person could do, but planning your business moves on BH and SPAM for a handful of sites is probably one of the most absurd moves I've ever seen so far.

Having eggs in different baskets does not refer to having several investments of the same type, it refers to having investments based on different approaches... Sorry to hear that, but I hope you learn a good lesson.

Really terrible to hear this but this is a hard lesson: Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. I learned this with Fiverr.

I also try to rely a lot on social media nowadays for my money sites.
 
may i ask what service you use in your screenshot for tracking?
 
Most people on this forum have been through this at least 4-5 times already. Stay strong.
 
Rev share is the only way to be safe, I lost most my money making sites today, I was just going through my main accounts (casino / bookies) And I had signed up 50k+ people (not depositors) Probably about 10K depositors, tomorrow my sites will still be gone, but my players will still be there, still churning the money in.
 
i understand you 100% .it happen to me in 2012 when was EMD update,i was going from 22k/month to stable 1,5-2k/month since then.only in 2013 i had 3 months with around 6-8k/month then hit again to 1-2k/month
 
Sorry to hear about your loss. How did you monetized those websites- Adsense, Clickbank or any other program ?
 
Right attitude you have got here... although none of my site have been hit but i am always prepared for getting hit. This may happen to anyone at anytime.

Dude you had a spam service for $70/month from India then put Sape on that site. Go get a beer, hooker too if you struggle with the ladies, and celebrate the money that site got you.

I've heard the hard way that its a must to continue pouring money back in. Glad I learned that lesson and now I'm coming back stronger and smarter than ever.
 
OP - you should be happy as a pig in shit that $70/month spam got you $7k a month.

Signing an office lease relying on that $70/month SEO service is insane. Hope it works out for you, but you should be laughing all the way to the bank making a return on pocket change.
 
Always put money aside. One, for taxes. Two, back up plan when things like this happen.
 
Thats why i dont move into office with 3 months Income
You must have 6 months rent Advance paid out or in your bank
Payment for Bills and salaries for staff for 6 months ( in case you hire )
Only then you should have a Office

I learned it hard way too unfortunately
