I was taking a health screener for a certain company (not important) and they do the whole mental health screening bit for depression, paranoid delusions, etc... I was just going down the line checking no, etc... when I came across a few questions:

"Do you ever feel like you have special powers like telepathy or telekinesis that other people don't have?"

"Do you see things that other people don't?"

Now, I fundamentally disagree with being dishonest, but on the other hand, if I answered yes to these, they would almost certainly disqualify me or make me undergo some kind of evaluation.

I lied and selected no. Was that wrong? :/

Just need some moral advice bros, pls :(

How dare you not tell them you can move things with your mind. Shame on you.

I know man, i feels unethical that I lied :(. But I guess I have to stay low key until psychic powers are a commonly accepted reality.

They must've been moved very much with your honest replies! ;)

anyway, you did moved them, so you didn't lied you see!

seeing your long errr answers some parts of them must have moved some inches involuntarily! See, you never lied -- in a way! :D

How do you know that would disqualify you? You know, maybe they're secretly looking to assemble the X-men.
Hey, I wasn't born last night Zwie - have you seen most xmen films? For some reason, mutants tend to have a VERY short lifespan.

The normies wanna stuff me full of pills or poke and prod me till the cows come home in some "abandoned" warehouse. I gotta keep a low profile hehe.

I've seen all of them. Wolverine, Charles Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, and Apocalypse are old.

"Neurotypical" is a better word than "normie". I've always felt normie is a word used by neurotypicals to degrade other neurotypicals.

Anyway, now you'll never know if they were recruiting X-men because you lied on your application.

This could have been you:

For a job? no, fuck em.

I'd say be honest if you went to get a screening done personally to identify health issues for yourself, but when it comes to employers just tell them what you need to to get hired.

I do this all the time for employment: "No I totally don't smoke weed" or "I am very excited to get this position" when really my real response in my head is always "Dude it's xx.xx an hour, let's stop playing stupid games, just give me the fucking job."

Everyone lies on job applications babe. How do you think people get hired? No one is actually qualified to do their job. That's why you always wonder "Why does this idiot work here? How did they even get hired?" News flash: they lied.

I would reply here, but there is no point as you already know what I was going to say and what I am thinking.
