Warning to affiliate when buying traffic on adoperator

Hello guys & gals

I've been running a lot of campaigns and for a week or 2 weeks ago I saw this ad from adoperator and thought I'm gonna check them out as their prices for popunder were good.

I set up 4 campaigns and ran them and couldn't see much/any clicks or conversions. From here I changed my strategy and just focused on investigating their traffic. I set up a few tools that I built myself and tested their traffic towards those and I wasn't surprised at all...

99% of their traffic is bots and more specifically Clickjacking and they are very aggressive with it and they will make sure you'll use your daily budget.

Be careful when buying traffic from these guys as it'll put your site/landers & server in huge danger as they'll also eat all your server resources.

You are 100% right, this network is full botted.

What I recommand, when you test a network, ALWAYS pay with paypal so you can chargeback if the traffic is botted. Generally you will get your money back.

A lot of networks are traffic fraud, don't hesitate to chargeback to recover your money ;)

If you ask for charge back willy nilly paypal will limit your account.
Unless you have a stealth paypal.
Paypal don't want to be part of any of this, so the charge back goes against both seller or buyer.

I agree with you and it's a huge hassle to get chargebacks. I see it as part of the process, you test and if it not working, you move forward. Of course, you don't spend a lot of money and especially when you have the tools that I built, you'll quickly from the first minute see if the traffic is botted.

But yeah, a chargeback would put both your paypal and mind at risk
 
Generally paypal will closed the dispute in your favor, it's working for me. I have did this 2 times and i got money back without problem. Of course don't abuse it.

You can easily see if the traffic is botted related to the LP CTR for example. Only fews push networks are clean related to my experience, have test almost everything.

Yeah, PayPal will usually close in favor of customers, but the hassle because of the amount is too much. Of course, if the amount is big, then it's worth it.

Regarding the landing page CTR and botted traffic, I must say, I disagree a bit. Of course, you can after time know what is the average CTR for good sources, and based on this anything up or down is "most likely" to be bottled, but keep in mind the sources and publishers who are sending bottled traffic, they sit down day in and day out to make sure that their traffic seems as much as possible as "normal" user and these are the dangerous sources/publishers. Because those "dum"-bottled traffic are easy to see.

So In order to actually see and know which traffic is actually bottled, you would need to go a bit out of your scope and have some tools. Some like me, build it themselves because I have the knowledge, and some purchase.

So with that said, don't just take a look at CR (Conversion Rate), CTR and determine if traffic is bottled, because you won't believe the "smart"-bots that I've seen and things they actually are able to do ;)
 
Always good to test with credit card so you win the case in your favour :)

The best way is to find a network that are selling direct traffic, 3rd traffic is a pure garbage. It's absolutely not safe. A lot of networks are totally scam like this network. Only fews are safe. Of course yes, LP CTR is a good indicator, but not the only one.
