Hello dear friends,
so as the title says, stay away from hostinger.de or hostinger.co.uk ... I used one of their free-plans, and my website got "blocked" after one day usage with the redirect to their homepage: CPU LIMIT Exceeded.
First of all, i know you should never use free host services, however even tough, you should get some minimum "service" for free hosting.
After that, i contacted the support what this was about. They replied to me and said, you had to many visitors etc. ... However i only had 15 visitors after that one day. So they are completely "bullshitting" you.
After i told them my view, and that they should remove that CPU limit, however to compensate that, they could also lower the bandwith from 100GB (who needs that much anyway) to 10GB Bandwith. By this they could gain "trust" in beeing a more reliable Host service, and via this they could get more customer to pay. I also explained them in some messages before that I WAS happy with their service, but that's past now, since after my suggestion, they simply closed my account.
AGAIN: I know free host services do whatever they want. Still, I used bPlaced (free plan) for years, worked with support etc. and they we're friendly and professional(after 3 years, no accounts were closed or personal data were shared and still the same good service as you could see from a paid hosting plan, only disadvantage, which why i chosed hostinger for a short period, was php and curL). However by a suggestion deleting an account, that is simply some guy looking for fast money.
So even with a paid plan, i wouldn't recommend to use their service, but one of the services from the Marketplaces here, or a more reliable "free" service.
