    Hi Guys!

    Today i received message to skype from "curry2k9", he said that he wants learn some methods about link building. He offered me $900 for my methods.

    He didn't wanted make any prepaid, so i told him 1 method, how to get good backlinks.

    After that, i spent couple hours to teaching him. Then he said he wants some backlink lists.

    I made good package and sent him, he told that he want start link building service!

    Also he promised that he will pay $850 now for teaching and $50 tomorrow. For all methods...

    He asked me couple questions and then disappear, deleted me from contacts.

    So Guys, don't do anything without PREPAID.

    You must resemble a cow, because he sure milked you dry.

    I can't believe you passed out information like that for free without even knowing the guy. I built a site for someone once and never got paid. Now I get 50% up front or find someone else. If you don't trust each other, use an escrow service or something.

    rule of thumb: if you cant get it back, make sure you are paid upfront

    I agree with everyone here. I got scammed once for offering to do some SEOing for a guy's blog. I didn't do much, and I had spoke to the guy for a couple of months before he asked me, then he vanished right after promising to pay me $400. This is when I first started last year, and I'm still pissed at myself about it. Those types of people are scum. I've learned my lesson: Always take a payment upfront or no deal.
