WARNING: Microwaving Water is DANGEROUS

the first is a raw egg in the shell . that is bad. I thought hey maybe you can boil eggs in the microwave like you can on the stove top. Needless to say the eggs blew up in my face when I took them out of the microwave i had some pretty bad burns. DOH! I mean they went off like bombs i was amazed and burnt.

lmao me too when i was a kid, however it blew up in the micro - and my sis had to clean it up. Also once did a poato for dunnow how long but it was glowing like mad

this is correct, liquid boils because of friction, distilled water is so pure that there is no friction

The second I wanted some instant coffee and boiled some water when I put the coffe in the cup after cooking the water in the microwave the coffee water exploded that was an odd occurrence one that threw me for a loop as I did not understand how it was possible for water to explode.

Needless to say I do not like using microwaves any more.

Man that sucks!.. I used to put raw eggs into the m/w on purpose to watch them explode until one day it literally blew the plastic lining on the inside of the door apart... It was awesome until my mom came home and i had to make up a B/S story on how it was a mistake!
 
I knew the microwave was too good to be true, there's ALWAYS a catch in everything and every action.

Yep it was awful. They could have made it a billion times better. I was very very disappointed and pissed that I've wasted 3 hours of my time.

OK Sorry it took so long....How to turn this into a BH marketing idea.

You will need to find an affiliate preferably a sunscreen company like Coppertone, Hawaiin tropic or Australian gold ...Next super heat your neighbors swimming pool. Wait for your neighbor to take a swim and video tape the accident ooppesss i mean incident. Now post your vid on youtube and wait for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
 
Microwave companies have known this for years, thats why the spinning base plate has a slight jerk while it spins. It is not a totally smooth spin.

Without that slight jerk there would be higher chances of super heating un-distilled water. Not every caution they they take will ever make the problem go away completely.

Some microwaves go as far as reversing the spin during the same heating cycle.

And to think I thought the slight jerking was because it was made by a cheap company using a bunch of underpaid peasants and cheap materials.
 
I once put an egg in the microwave and everything was fine and dandy,untill i stabbed my fork through the egg,it blew up in my face and burnt the heck out of me. :o
