[WARNING] Maxbounty - Dont send them black traffic

How does a company who makes millions a year benefit from "taking" a few thousand dollars from someone and risking all this negativity publicity if the person was not in some kind of violation of the TOS? It doesn't make sense.

Maxbounty is just sneaky crooks.

I got the same emails asking for me to push my volume on the dating offers I was promoting. I was getting leads from a variety of places and I couldn't drive traffic like I wanted because i had limited funds. I tried to run a dating offer for germany but only managed to get one lead because I did not have the funds to back it up. It worries me that I got terminated even though I ran several different offers. And almost all the dating offers I had got leads got leads from the USA, UK, and other countries. I don't know how they think I can fake that lol.

Offers I was running: Russianbride(lost about $150), Amolatina(lost about $60), MyPcBackup(lost about $34) and there were some others.

The fact that I was emailed at least two times asking for me to push my volume on the russianbride offer. Proves to me that my traffic was fairly good and that MB is just full of shit. Well, time for me two switch my traffic over to another cpa. They would love to have me.

Because the alternative is to reward an affiliate for violating their Terms of Service, and thereby encouraging all the others to do the same, and expanding their problems exponentially. The harsher the punishment, the more publicly it is done, the more effective the lesson. It's also cheaper. It's not about $6,000 "profit", it's the savings in time & energy scrutinizing every single affiliate and all of their traffic in order to make certain it's all legit. This way, he get's THEM to police themselves, with certain and draconian punishment in store for them if they cross the line, even a little bit.

Read Machiavelli's "The Prince".

I said that I wouldn't post in this thread anymore as I didn't have anything else to add to the discussion started by the OP, but the addition of this post has left me no choice.

While I don't enjoy reading negative comments about MaxBounty, I accept that everyone is entitled to their opinions. This being BlackHatWorld, I know that most people's opinions about us won't be the best as it's our responsibility to keep our network clean of fraud and some of you have been terminated because of that. I also know that regardless of how fraudulent someone's traffic is, it did take them a lot of work to create that traffic, and I agree it can be frustrating for that person and venting publically can be therapeutic.

I can handle that kind of negative feedback because I know where it comes from, and for the most part it comes from a place of honesty.

But I won't sit silently for blatant lies such as this where someone is trying to piggyback on another thread and try to soak up the sympathy that is most certainly undeserved.

Dante848, you were NOT running one ad through blogs. You and your buddy Jonathan (most likely someone you met at BotNet) were spending time filling out leads for each other. Your traffic was not surfers coming through your blog and signing up for the offer. Instead, you and Jonathan filled out the forms yourselves with fake data. All of the leads to the campaign from both of your accounts came from only two different computers.

As I've said before, and I'll say it again, we only terminate people who violate our terms and conditions.

You're a funny guy, know that? I read your original response to this thread and I have to say you are a poor excuse for an owner of a network. I read all of your insinuations about the OP's intelligence. You have a nice little way of dancing around the important questions that users have and at the same time typing out three paragraphs of nearly pointless information. YOU were paid. Another user stated that you said you were not paid by the advertiser. I'm curious, which is it? Do you even communicate with your AM's? Why is it that every time someone is banned, they were prompted to send more of the "low quality traffic" MB's way? Oh, and I am in no way advocating their means of promoting your offers, I just had a few questions that I noticed you avoided a few times.

Should of replied to the e-mail stating that next month (as in after they make payment) you expect huge traffic.

If anyone believes maxbounty didn't purposely ban him right before payment, you're a fucking idiot. These networks do it all the time. I doubt even the advertisers know that there was anything wrong with the traffic. MaxBounty probably kept the $6k to themselves and didn't even tell the advertiser about the violation. Shit, even if the advertiser did know, do you think they just don't pay MaxBounty? Bullshit. Even though the source was from spamming, they are still legit e-mail submits, submitted by real people. Do you think the advertiser just unsubscribes all those e-mails once they find out? They're making money even from spammy sources.

Networks love us blackhatters. They can ban us and take 100% of our earnings and keep it for themselves.

Waaa a legitimate company did not accept my blackhat traffic

Pathetic, If I was you I would have accepted the ban am made a new account instead of crying about it on a public forum

I'm in no way affilaite with MB, but I can sure explain this as I see what goes on from the other side of things.

An AM's job is to get more traffic. Period. They usually have no clue of how that traffic is generated, if its valid or not, etc. All they know is someone is sending traffic, and their job is to get you to send more. So getting an email from one of them asking for more traffic is pretty standard - not some petty money grab.

As for being banned on pay day. I'm not really surprised. Ask yourself this : when are flags most likely to be raised? Answer : on pay day. Why? Because that's when you have to look at every affiliate's earnings (and by consequence, the quality of their leads) to be able to pay them. So when someone is sending shit traffic, it usually gets picked up by the fraud department on pay day.

The title of the thread says it all - you got caught and banned

Welcome to being blackhat, move on

This isn't an issue of the OP 'getting cought and losing money' the issue is MB was paid for his leads and didn't pay him. Regardless of how the leads were produced, the network got paid. The advertiser was contacted and confirmed the leads were of high quality. You would know this if you actually read the thread.

That does not matter, he broke their terms of service

4.7. Affiliate must not display any Ad in third party newsgroups, social networks, message boards, blogs, link farms, counters, chatrooms or guestbooks without the consent of such third party entity.

What do you expect them to do? Reward him for spamming?

just dont be stupid dude, any other network would pay him, even he was banned and broke the rules, network got money, and leads were good. He deserved that money.

In 9-5 job, imagine you work 1 month and in last day you do some BS, which isnt really that bad, but there is some rule , and you get fired without salary, is that ok with you ?

So according to your logic.
1) Lets say you are the owner of a large company programming company and you are assigned to create a code for a space shuttle flight path (very rough example) and on the last day on payday is the launch. It turns out the code is all wrong and the shuttle crashes. Would you pay the coder ?
2) You are the owner of a maintenance company that needs to deliver "Pure water" to a hospital/lab and the better water you give them the more money you get. You hire a guy to do this and after 30 days on payday he says, ok boss it is done. When you open the valves the hospital/lab gets a load of junk dirty water that is completely useless. Would you pay that guy ?

In other words: Play clean or accept what is coming. And you can be certain that on 99% of cases they will catch you, because lets face facts, people caught here are small time players with little to no experience.
These are my thoughts, if you think differently go ahead.

Because of my own experience -
1) I have been approached many times by my AM asking me if i can increase my volume of traffic. I once even got pre paid so i could start my campaign. Yes you heard right, they paid me before i did anything.
2) All the offers i drive have increased rates and highest is even 50% higher than normal rates. This is how please the advertiser is with the traffic
3) All my payments are on time and i talk to my AM a few times a week on phone.

Stay clean and all will be ok. It is as simple as that

"isn't really that bad"

Listen, You need to look at the bigger picture, how many affiliates do you think are advertising Max Bounty offers? Imagine if MB did not care if they spammed social media sites, do you know what happens?

The social media company gets pissed off and takes MB to court.

Are you forgetting the whole fiasco with Facebook and Adscend Media? Why would MB pay an affiliate who could land them in court?! He would continue to spam and even "scale it up" as its proven to be profitable if they did not ban him.

The lesson here is to have multiple accounts and don't be greedy, it sounds shitty but its the truth

There is a local proverb in Pakistan which goes on like " If the smoke is rising there must be a fire". In other words read too many same stories over and over about a company and it is 99.99% proof that something fishy is going on and the company is scam. Left MB long time ago after reading one similar story. They are crooks and frauds.. They will milk you as hard as they can to get maximum juice out of your traffic from advertisers and then at the payday just ban you for good. Fuck em . Steve piss off you fraudster.

Ok, i dont care actually.
dont defend maxbounty, those suckers shave way too much. I left them and i never felt better . Been wasting time with them and made like $250 in few months. Now i send any kind of traffic to other networks and i can get that money in days, fuck maxbounty, they conversion rate sucks even my traffic quality is good.
Go work with these suckers, i choose other networks and i make more

Your missing my point completely, it doesn't matter what company it is, if you break the terms of service you will be banned. The OP admitted to sending black traffic and was banned - that is why I originally made the comment that this thread is "pathetic"

For the record I don't have an account with max bounty, and I am not saying they don't "shave" - I am not in the position to comment on that as I do not work with them, I was only stating that I understand why they banned him and why they did not pay

Agree to disagree. Again the issue isn't about getting caught or getting banned. Those 2 things clearly happened. The issue is now where that money is going. Either the OP or the advertiser, but certainly not MB. Once again if you actually read through you would notice the thread was closed but then reopened by staff. Read through and you will see why.
