Yesterday I get a warning in my fiverr account (I'm not a seller).



I was confused and asked the Fiverr-support the reason for this warning..

Now I'm alarmed about the answer:

Hi there,[FONT=&amp]It seems that in one of your messages you were redirect to a site that sells YouTube views, which are a violation to our Terms and Services as well as a copyright violation.[/FONT]

More likely they just detect words and phrases like YouTube, YouTube views, views and etc.
Like they monitoring for Skype, AIM, MSN and for other messengers.

Yes, it is really annoying, they have auto responding word scanners

I mailed them about it, because they falsely accused me

happened with me also when I tried to give my skype id to someone. from that time I started using imge file or txt to tell something

if they want to lose more money fine for us, i stopped selling there

I think they automatically just search for links, email addresses, skype IDs.

Use code words haha

Lol, no fiverr mod will look especially at your conversation unless its for a good reason. They have some "triggering" words and if you try to send messages containing words like "Youtube", "payment" and some other ones that im not aware of their system will automatically trigger an alarm and only then a mod probably will watch you. An idea would be to write "You tube" instead of "Youtube" and "pay m ent" instead of "payment" but I think that they have a solution for this too.

The online marketing, business, writing, graphics, video sections are a huge reason why Fiverr got famous too. Biting the hand that feeds, huh? As soon as they started cracking down, Fiverr started going down.

I wonder if this constant stupidity we see from online companies is a human thing, or just because of the generation currently in charge being so completely out of touch with reality.

Yeah it is really annoying when you want to have a proper conversation in a message with someone in fiverr and you have these big brother messages pop up. They must be so paranoid about users doing deals that aren't on fiverr that they have gone to extreme lengths to stop it.

According to me they are not reading every message but base on some keywords they randomly check it

Fiverr is in the process of re-buiding their website (fiverr 2.0). It will be the next generation of fiverr but it's going to take quite a while until we get to see the results.

Of course they do, not "reading", but some words and expressions pops up on their system.

Try email a seller and just watch

fiverr didn't read all message of us, they just read message which contain updated bad words for them.

I was trying to get a Y E L P re*v$i@ew from someone and I was given a warning. This was two years ago too. Sure they are scanning the messages.
