[WARNING!] Fileice Payout Information Changed!!! HACK!!

Hello guys,

I want you to be aware of your Fileice account as I recently got an email of someone changing my payout information.

I just logged in, changed my password and the email that was on the payout information was: "[email protected]"

I don't know how someone did that. I always try to get my IM things done on a Sandbox so nothing happens to critical information.

I haven't downloaded any random software/file, but I advice you to run everything related to IM on a sandbox or sth similar.

EDIT: Ohh and the IP I got from the Fileice email is: 12.250.38.190

My FileIce account password was also changed when i woke up this morning! :damnit:

same ip as yours 12.250.38.190.
i really don't know how he got my password.
 
This IP is from: French Village, Missouri.
ISP = ATT

lookout people many payments are going to someone who didnt even do anything except change an email

I forgot the paypal ID of this hacker
 
Holy is the owner a member of this forum if so ge should be taking the precautionary measures, I need to check my email if I'm even part of this network, already am part of over 100 networks :( thanks to OP for bringing this out.
 
Have you guys read the important announcements being posted on your Fileice dashboards? They mentioned awhile back to change your passwords if you had the same password being used with the Fileice forums. If I remember, they had a security breach on their forums.
 
Exactly the same thing happened to me also. I don't how it happened but just got lucky.By then I am only using on-screen keyboard :D. See the screen shot!!

Holy Moly! If multiple users are facing the same problem, then maybe you guys got phished.
 
Lol this isn't phishing or malware or anything like that.

The guy has a found a venerability in the site (most likely sql injection) and has changed your password/email addresses.

Judging by the comment iamceleb11 posted, the admin in not only a douche, but a complete idiot. It's up to them to make sure their site is secure, not you.

Way to go for screwing over your affiliates.
 
I have account on fileice , My account is safe but i changed my password , lots people account got hacked because of their forum,Those People who keep their passwords same on account or forum got hacked.
 
I logged into Fileice today, and I was greeted with a message to change my password, looks like they are aware of the issue. I also checked out the forums and other users are having the same problem as well.
 
^ yeap, got the same greeting.

I've also used their lock feature in payout information page. Everyone should lock their payout information..
