On a couple of my sites I use http://referer.us/ to blank my referrer and traffic has been decreasing lately, checked everything then tried my links with a couple of different IP's and they were all redirecting to: http://www.onesexaday.com/ - That's if the redirect would even work.

Fucking shit service, lost a few hundred $$$ the last few days because of them.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Oh shit, just happened to you today? It's been slowly decreasing for me. Wish I would have seen your thread lol

I just hope that more and more people will realize that they suck and move on. I wouldn't even mind paying like 10 bucks or something each month for a service like this - but claiming it's free and how they hate ads and spam and then redirecting your visitors to a crappy adult landing page is ridiculous. :zx11pisse

Yeah I might look at making something that uses memberships. Thanks for the idea :D

Thanks for letting us know man, im sure alot of people use it because i've used alot before..

I remember that happened to one of my links too. That's why I stopped using them a while ago.

thats why we should always be wary of services claiming to be free, while they rob us of our monies at the backend.

seems their site has been compromised or something , all traffic is redirecting to to that site now , even the main site

Another reason to use self-hosted redirections whether it is blanking/faking referrer or a simple redirection like bit.ly. The initial setup might take some time but you'll be 100% in control of your traffic.

FacebookDude, sorry to hear you lost money because of the site. I am the new owner and I promise you I won't do stuff like that.

I bought this site a few weeks ago and finished today changing the site into a free spoofing service since I find it a bit ridiculous that sites like FakeReferer and SpoofR charge money for such a simple thing...

Cheers, Johan

It's probably best not to bump a bunch of threads where everyone is talking about how bad your service is. Porbably better to just start off on a new foot and if others bring up the past of the site to address it then.

Also this could be seen as self promotion of your site/service which is against the rules unless you are a Jr VIP with an approved service.

Just an FYI

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the info! I tried adding a new thread, however I got a notice that I am not allowed to post links since it's against the TOS. For that reason I wanted to give notice in this thread (and a 2nd similar one).

Also, since I am not doing this to make money, but only for helping out BHW members I thought this act of self-promotion should be fine.

[MOD]: If you are not fine with this, sorry and please remove my message.

Thanks!

For the record promoting any service is against the rules whether it is free or paid. I'm not going to report the post or anything but just thought you should know.
