WARNING: Beware of the Sublime Twitter Bot

That's what recently happened to me... I've loaded in my 10k account list in the sublime bot and the next day, all accounts were gone. By checking some of them manually, I found out that the accounts haven't been suspended. The login details and emails have been changed by someone. Because I have not used these accounts for something else or with another bot, I know that the owner of the sublime twitter bot must have stolen the details and changed it.

I just want to warn you all so it doesn't happen to you as well.

If this is indeed the case then the creator should be shitlisted and banned. Have you got any proof? Or you know a good developer who can look at the bots code to check this?

Be sure not to update the bot. If this is true and the owner see's this thread then he may well release an update to hide their tracks.
 
Maybe you should check if the bot sends data somewhere else than to twitter ?
You can use Wireshark or Fiddler to make that on your own ;)
 
Hmm I will try to do it with Wireshark or Fiddler. I've never used it and I am very inexperienced in it. But I will try.

A few weeks ago, I've found the bot and decided to download it. I've sent the link also to a programmer I know. He just had a short look at it. It was interesting to us because the bot seemed to be able to edit the profile like changing backround, bio etc.

I didn't use it for a long time and recently I've decided to try it. I've figured out very fast that the bot does not work at all. It is full of bugs and really does not work very well.
I've stopped it and when I came online next day (which was today) all my accounts have been gone.

I'm very disappointed from this.

@G-S-T how could I send you a proof? Or what kind of proof would you need? I am very inexperienced when it comes to codes etc and all I have now is the old login data list from the accounts which have been hacked...
 
I just checked it and couldn't find any traces of it sending account data. The only call to his site is being made in the license checking call.
 
But how does it come then that all my accounts are being hacked after I've used this bot?
I haven't used these accounts with any other bot and I also haven't logged in myself manually to these accounts.
I've also never shared the list with anyone...I'm the only one who has access to my computer so I really care a lot about my accounts.
When I've used the sublime bot, the accounts did work perfectly...the bot was able to login and post but after a few hours of using the sublime bot, all login details have been changed by someone
 
No I did not create them. I've bought them from someone but these accounts were very old accounts and they always worked perfectly. I didn't use them often. They were the best accounts I've ever had. After I've purchased the accounts, I've spent a lot of time in changing the passwords and emails to make sure that the seller does not sell the same accounts to someone else.
I've had them for a couple of months now and never have had any problems
 
Hatemachine is right, there's nothing in there that sends your data anywhere. There is a twitter username and password hardcoded in there though, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

True. I was just shocked that all my accounts were gone and I've heard that it is possible for a bot owner to receive the data.
However, I will do some research and I will post an update about what I've found out as soon as possible.

In almost every case like this, it is usually your account supplier.
 
Here is the thing: After I've got the accounts from my supplier, I did change the passwords and emails....so I really doubt that the supplier could have been it....
 
From what i'm reading (and i do create bots) you should take a close look at the supplier. Tho i have not checked the software in question but others say that it doesn't send elsewhere so there's one option left...

Holy shit. This one outrageous lie and we as a professional company will DEFEINITELY NOT degrade our products by adding a backdoor as you claimed.

Think about this: Why would we change your accounts if we sell a bot THAT CREATES accounts. We literally create over 5,000 accounts on autopilot everyday just for our maintenance check.

This is just simply slanderous, misleading and malicious. I will report this post to the moderators.

I can get the code looked at by any moderator who knows .net

Then how the hell did you come up with a conclusion that it was our bot who changed your passwords? You just assumed it did with no proof whatsoever?

I have reported this to the moderators.
 
People say that the account creating part doesn't even work.
I will try it out and see if the creating part really works
 
Oh and @Tsongkie as far as i've seen, the moderators are already aware about it. Is it just a strange fact to me that the 10k account list has been hacked after I've submitted it to your bot. I don't claim that I know exactly that it was you but it's such a strange fact that I've started thinking it. I hope, you understand.

I bought about 1500 accounts for it and they are dieing off so hard, but I think it's because I don't have my proxy game in check yet. I never assumed I got "backdoor jacked" lol. Maybe you blew it with some fail public proxy action too. :P
