Warming up our own pixel on competitors websites ?

Hi Folks,

Is it possible to warm up my own pixel on someone else website ?

I know that i can add the id of my pixel as an img to add it in forums etc. But is it possible on Shopify website ?

I thought to add it in the metadata on a picture, and add this picture in the review section on the product page from the competitor that is crushing it with the same product

If it's possible, would Facebook know it and ban my ad account ?

Hmmm i dont think it will work but theres a possibility, give it a try, it sounds interesting.

I don't think it will work. For this to be working, you have to post the pixel on that review page. You see, this pixel thing is a code that is interpreted as an image. You can't edit the metadata on a picture for it to work. Also, I think that any image you upload to your competitor, is shrinked and served from their website, not from Facebook. Just try and post a random image (with a url)/comment and see if is served from their website or from that image's url.

Yes, it sounds very interesting.
I'm just waiting a bit to know if others did the job before. Don't want to be ban by Fb these days of Q4 ahah

This sounds interesting. Just try it with a dummy pixel and see if it is getting fired?
