All over internet I can hear phrases like
‘ you need to warm your instagram account before you start posting ‘
Can someone explain me how to do it, and what it means? Thanks in advance.

Warm up means that you don't start fully blasting with 200 follows/ 200 likes / 200 comments / 10 posts per day because you get your account blocked/banned. So you start slowly in a span of 1-14 days: a few likes, a few story views, a few posts saves, a few follows, 1 post per day or every 2 days and you increase slowly. That way the algo doesn't start seeing you that you are forcing their limits.

you need to warm your instagram account before you start posting
For instance if you create an account, and try to perform 1,000 likes within 24 hours then it’s likely that Instagram will ban you - at least temporarily.

However you can warm up the account by liking 10 pics on day one, 20 pics on day two, 30 pics on day three, and so on.

In doing so you’ll build up Instagram’s trust [in you], as they just want to avoid people spamming on their platform.

Instead of aiming for 2,000 likes in 24 hours, which could lead to your account being banned, focus on building a natural and trustworthy presence on Instagram. Start by posting consistently, engaging with others, and gradually growing your following organically. This will help prevent your account from being restricted or banned when you start running ads or posting more frequently

“Warming up your Instagram account” is a slow process of building trust with the platform. Taking the time to act like a real user will help your account become more stable and ready for bigger uses.

Warm up basically means that doing slow actions so the account gets prepared for max limits after a few weeks. To warmup you need to do humanly actions like :

Feed Scroll
Explore Scroll
Watching some Reels
Sending some DMs
Follow,Like and Comment slowly

"Warming up an Instagram account" is the process of engaging with the platform organically to make your account appear more authentic to Instagram's algorithm. You can warm up your account by liking, commenting, following other accounts, posting regularly, and using relevant hashtags.

Hey! Welcome to the world of Instagram automation and management!

Warming up an account is the process of gradually making it look natural and active to avoid being flagged or restricted by Instagram’s algorithms. It’s like building trust with the platform before engaging in heavy activities like posting or automating.

How to Warm Up an Instagram Account:
1. Start Slow
• First week: Log in and browse. Like posts, watch stories, follow 5-10 accounts daily.
• Don’t automate or spam during this phase.
2. Complete Your Profile
• Add a profile picture, bio, and at least one post. A complete profile looks legit.
3. Engage Gradually
• Week 2-3: Increase activity step by step. Comment on posts, send a few DMs, and follow/unfollow slowly.
• Post content every 2-3 days. Stick to photos/videos that match your account’s niche.
4. Human-like Behavior
• Watch reels, explore new accounts, and don’t overuse repetitive actions. Random activity helps.
5. Use High-Quality Proxies (If Managing Multiple Accounts)
• If you’re managing accounts via automation tools or antidetect browsers, make sure you’re using mobile or residential proxies (one proxy per account for safety).
• Check out NodeMaven for reliable proxies that keep your accounts looking real.
6. Avoid Suspicious Actions
• No sudden mass follows/unfollows or posting too frequently.
• Avoid automating too soon or using low-quality proxies/VPNs.

By warming up your account, you’re signaling to Instagram that you’re a genuine user, which helps you avoid bans or restrictions when you scale up your activity.

Let me know if you need tips on automation tools or proxies!

Add avatar, bio, add photos, follow celebrities. Do this less than 10 times a day. Interact slowly like a normal user. You will warm up the account gradually so that you are not considered a robot.

Though 1 important missed is. The source of the Instagram account. If you created that account on your own then its great. Otherwise, many times, warm doesn't work because of some fuckup that the account seller make (which linked that account to the other account's he's selling). And when the other account goes down, you account goes down as well, despite all the warmup, you might be left for guessing what's going wrong. So make sure you pick a legit source 1st. Or register them yourself.
