Hello BHW!
I read as much as my brain could take here on BHW about cold emailing. I'm not doing cold emailing, but everything related to what I need leads to cold emailing. I'm not sure how much of that would apply to my need. So here I am, writing this post. It's also so so confusing hearing 50% of people saying yes and 50% of people saying no - about everything, really. Take email warming, as an example.
I'm still a newbie trying to get around, but I think I've learnt enough, but I would like some opinions, if someone would be kind enough to.
I'm currently using a few personal gmail accounts, created by me some time ago. I've tried to get a domain and some email service and although I setup dmarc, etc. the deliverability seemed pretty bad so I switched back quick. I'm ALMOST happy with my setup. I also use some warming up service from time to time. But I just know there's a way to improve my setup and I want to work towards that.
The emails I send are to people that have filled a form, so they are warm, not cold. But I do see a lot of unopened emails. Sometimes 30-50%.
I used to send them myself from an email client and now I have some automation like Zapier that sends that and then I take over after they reply. I currently disabled email tracking, as I heard that can hurt as well.
My emails are not spammy or whatever, I'm working in white hat. And recently I heard about spintax and i also implemented that in my automation. They don't go at the same time, as the automation gets triggered when the client has filled the form, so they are by design spaced out.
My plan now is to try and get a few domains with Google Workspace and warm-up for some time before I start using them. Then continue using my automation to send the first email, and then continue, as I do now, in my email client. As I've heard Workspace and Outlook Business are the absolute best for inbox rate. Note here, I've seen all this sending services, cmss and more and perhaps that would suit me better than an automation like Zapier? If so, why?
I have also tried Adspower with proxies and gmail.com instead of my email client (so i wouldn't send from the same ip from multiple gmail accounts), but that didn't seem to help.
However, it's a considerate pricing getting mailboxes from Google, warming up services, on top of my current automations and who knows what else I might need. I'm not sure if I'm looking for something I can't get or my plan is right.
I send around 15-100 mails per day per account, not including the replies I do manually, which are probably doubling that number. But those are replies in conversations, that should be something else?
Weird thing is, I'm using some warmup service that shows me deliverability vs each email provider and my deliverability (from @gmail) to gmail is waaaaaay worse than to outlook.
