United States has a strict law against copyright violation; thus, no warez is allowed by US hosting companies. When browsing the web, I just found several warez websites and forums sharing download links for copyrighted software, music, etc, with a US IP. Surprisingly, when I explored, the IPs belong to famous hosting companies like GoDaddy.

They has a (ridiculous indeed) statement in their TOS and Privacy Policy, that they are not responsible for the copyright materials, and you can send a claim for DMCA. Is it enough? Does this trick really work?

Most sites are small and never receive anything and therefore go unnoticed. It does work generally and if you remove content the problem is usually solved but you have to keep constant backups encase you are suspended.

If you really need to host in the US, then test the waters, but don't be surprised if you do get suspended without notice. I would try with an offshore provider just to be on the safe side with complaints.

I agree!

I wouldn't make any warez sites on us hostings couse who wants to invest time and money into things that will fail sooner or later?
