You can rank in Google for almost anything even with the most crapy content.
The real question is:
-> How much is it going to cost you of the following...
*Team (how many people / skills / resources)
*Finances (how much $ are your really spending to rank!)
*Time (how long are you taking to get the spot in the SERPs)
If your comfortable with the answers, then go for it!
If you have not already researched what a Google Bomb is...
I suggest you look at that.
It's amazing what people can get Google to show when the put the effort behind it!
