Well, Im wanting to buy some articles... What would you charge for a 500 or so word article...
Just want to compare rates between people

How much you got...I'll charge that much + a buck:) What's the going rate these days, like 0.01 per word, or something like that from most places.
 
ya around 1 penny a word.. If I could get under that it would be great :-)

articles are not on a word basis. you should search for some pro ghost writer, the written article must be well placed in keywords, all the keywords must be placed in the right places and must be completely SEO'd, anyone can write an essay, but writing and SEO friendly article is another thing. good ghost writers charge around $15 an article.

Yeah, some truth there, if you are looking for articles FOR SEARCH ENGINE, make sure you pick some one that knows how to do it- keyword density, keyword proximity, etc...-.

If you need articles for humans people, just hire someone who has talent.
