want to start some websites (domainquestion)

i found out some good niches and now i need many top level domains....

i think hostgator would be good, cause they offer unlimited domains..

does this mean i really can create unlimited domains for different projects?

like:

directory: /fatguys/index.html --> http://www.fatguys.com

directory: /biganimals/index.html --> http://www.biganimals.com

??

Yes that's what you can do, but there are normally other limits in place that will restrict you, such as CPU usage number of files stored although it says unlimited, its not there are limits in place.

But if you just set up small sites and not huge dynamic sites you will be OK.

2nd question:

for example one of these sites is bh and all the others wh.. would this have any bad effects?(bad google ranking or sandbox) .. because it is the same host.. or is this only domain related?

normal accounts on hostgator do not allow for what you are talking about - if I understand what you are saying

they give you unlimited hosting with sub-directory domains - they got me this way once

you have to have a business account otherwise they give you

maindomain/domain2/index.html
maindomain/domain3/index.html

this still is unlimited hosting but is not recommended for seo

Question 2 is mostly domain related unless you get on a host/ip that has numerous bad accounts - this sometimes happens with shared hosting but not often
