Hey BHW sup?

since i play alot i want try IM with my own YT videos and adsense.
a friend told fraps its a good one program i can use to record when im playing, any other good ones ?
cheers have a nice day

First of all you need good pc setup for dat. Fraps is good , rank your videos on fps test and unboxing :-)

You also need 2 hard drives with Fraps.
Fraps record uncomrpessed data = HUGE volume of data written each second.

Is it for Rome 2? :)

Camtasia recorder is good too...
But as someone else said you should have a lot of free space on your hard drive to record games because most of this screen recording programs record uncompressed files.
I personally use FRAPS, but there are some games that FRAPS can't record and I use camtasia in this case.
Beside this camtasia have a good video editing program so you can use it even to edit your videos...

As far as I know Fraps is the best recorded when it comes to gaming, though the recorded files are huge and require high processing power to process! My bro used to record gameplays via Fraps, though now he actually uses Camtasia for the reason written above.

FRAPS is good, I used it on a RAID0 array on a fairly high spec machine and didnt see much of a drop in frame rates!

~ record videoName

Half-Life 1 .DEM style :)

Fraps does take HUGE amounts of disk space while recording. You could always ditch the software(fraps) and go for a hardware based option

I suggest as well FRAPS - but you need good HDD as speed. Camtasia on the other hand is allowing you to make different formats from your video. Normally the action games are taking like 100MB for 1 min of fraps

I use camtasia for my tutorial puposes but I can say that it works really great. Except for a few minor faults here and there, it is spotless. The video quality is also good and the movement of the mouse doesn't look pixelated unlike some other screen recorders that I have tried. But I cannot say that Fraps is bad because I haven't used it yet.

Try twitch tv too...you can stream online and record at the same time, then upload you tube. Why not make some cash real time as well ;-)

as for recording from my experience (used to be professional player) fraps is the best but prepare to have a BIG hard drive and a good card so you make sure it doesnt mess with your fps, especially if you stream where the better quality the more subscribers.
