I run one. And my advice to you is not to start haha.
First off, everyone and their grandmother "knows" its a scam. It actually isn't, but in order to show people that you have to teach people the whole business of affiliate marketing and they usually aren't for that. If you can explain the whole business in your opening paragraph on your site then you may have a chance, but if not then I wouldn't try.
Second, try promotion. Unless you're a guru at SEO you won't be ranking for any keywords related to, but not limited to, "get paid to, paid surveys, online offers" or any of the sort.
And third, unless you have hundreds of hours to program, starting your own site won't be easy unless you have a good amount of change up front.
How do I know all this? I run a GPT site with a friend of mine who's a programmer. I'm in charge of all the upfront stuff like promotion, payments, user management, etc. He's in charge of all backend stuff like programming.
We're thinking of just selling it for the cash before these sites are worth nothing. Unless you're CashCrate, then you probably won't be making too much and it'll just be more of a headache.

OP the boat for GPT sites came and left LONG time ago. Unless ur happy with 50$ a month then go for it

I personally use shiftcode for my gpt website, they offer a full package for 100 down and 20 per month, thats for the basic, the more advanced cost a little more down, they also have some game plugins you can do, and custom templates for more money.
