Hello,
I've got a potential client who has face-to-face shown interest in my SEO services. At the time (about 2 months ago) I was only thinking about doing client work and didn't have anything together to take on clients.
After our brief conversation I looked into his web presence, and I can definitely provide value to him.
I don't mind working for way under market rate to establish my first client, as I plan to use statistics from him to land clients for a good market rate. I've known him for a few years on an acquaintance basis.
I have everything I need and feel prepared to take him on - however I know a verbal interest definitely isn't a guarantee.
I'd like to test my approach on him that I plan to use with other businesses, as I feel comfortable enough around him compared to a completely cold lead.
Ideally I'd like to start with a posted letter, arrange a meeting (or phone call potentially) if necessary, then land client if we're both a good match for eachother as I've now got more information about their business.
In my cold letter, what points should I be touching on? I wouldn't want to open 5 A4 bits of paper filled with words, however they need to be informed enough in order to be interested.
Thanks for reading
